Quite small room, cleaning could be improved. I requested clean towels from the reception in the morning and by the evening I have not received them, so I had to go get them myself, which I found annoying.

The 3rd bed was a sofa bed which is not great but was expected as stated during the booking process.

Great location with the tram (Spårvagn) plattform just right outsite, giving you access to where you want yo go and walking distance (20min)to the central station. Nice room and friendly staff.

The security was very good using a card to access the stairs that was great.

Everything from room to breakfast, no noise though near the main road, the breakfast was nicely cooked and served. staff were very polite and welcoming. I will definitely use your hotel next time i come to Sweden

There was a slight mildew smell in the main lobby, but quickly dissipated once you reached the elevators. This really isn't an issue, as I would assume in rains there frequently, so it's bound to have a more wet smell anyways.

The room was immaculate and very clean. I really appreciated the use of the card as a way to get electricity; we need more energy saving strategies in the world. The breakfast was SUPERB! Really, I haven't stopped raving about it to my family and friends back in the states. Truly, everyone needs to visit Sweden purely for the breakfast alone.

There was a HUGE problem that killed my sleep at this hotel. Gangs smoking weed (selling drugs!?), playing very loud music from their cars and fighting (!!!) in the street outside the room 4 floors below. I asked the receptionist to take care of this problem and call the police and they told me they would call the police right away. However they didn´t. Next time I called them (because the loud noises from the street below didn´t stop) they said they "couldn´t call the police due to noise in the street". I feel you have a responsibility to please your guests needs and give them a certain level of service when you pay for a room at a decent hotel like this. Needless to say I wasn´t happy about this. In the end I had to use ear plugs to get a few hours sleep. Other than this the hotel was great. But beware. This is not a quiet hotel to sleep at during weekends at least.

The location is absolutely PERFECT. You´ll stay at a hotel that has a rock bad across the road and an endless line of great restaurants, fast food places, street grills and other places to eat. We went there a late summer weekend and had an absolutely amazing time! The streets were filled with happy beautiful Swedish girls and an overall great vibe!! There´s a concert venue nearby the hotel (Valand) too. Perfect spot for most people going to Gothenburg. The rooms are clean, comfy beds, good bathroom.

In our experience and opinion: Uncomfortably hot in room as no natural ventilation. Avoid ‘inner courtyard’ view rooms (odd and little natural light) as the Hotel mechanical ventilation is inadequate and cannot be individually controlled in the room. Even with a fan it was airless stifling.
