Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LithuaniaThe room was too small.
I really liked the hostel. It's just 15 minutes away on foot from Gamla Stan. The hostel is pretty basic, but the rooms are quite nice. I really felt I was sleeping in a Carlsson's room. The best thing about the hostel I think is the location. 15 minutes on foot from Gamla Stan. Many places to dine around and have some food.

UkraineIt was a bit dirty in room on the floor (someone’s hair), plumbing is outdated as well
Location - just 5 min walk from T-bana, pretty calm (despite windows are looking ti the street) and big kitchen available for use. Cheap cost as for the Stockholm

RomaniaIt’s situated underground, the rooms are very very small, so if you are claustrophobic avoid this property.
The location where this property is situated is very close to center and easily accesibile via metro. Overall the cleaning level was acceptable, it can definitely be improved.

FranceNot much going on at the hostel (and no real common area). Also, it's quite inconvenient to not have curtains on bed.
Very clean hostel. And everything was provided (towels, locks).

NorwayNothing to think of, as it's a hostel and my expectations were set towards that.
I liked the vibe and decor. The bed was comfortable. The room was small, but adequate for my needs, and it was also very comfortable. I thought the duvet may he cold before going to bed, but it was good. Was also worried about air quality as it was an internal room, but the ventilation system was good. Bonus points for having an ironing board and iron easily available.

HungaryMy only real complaint is that the price was outrageous for a hostel. But it was also the cheapest I could find. So that may just be a Stockholm problem 🤷♀️
Check-in was very easy. The hostel itself was very cute, with funky pictures, a little library, and a nice kitchen. The room (5-bed mixed dorm) was clean. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean, and a fresh towel was provided. The key system for the hostel is very convenient. The room is well equipped with a large locker per person, tons of outlets, and plenty of hanger hooks. Each bed also has a small reading lamp. There were ladders for those on top bunks. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was nicer than any I’ve seen at a hostel. The water got very warm and the pressure was excellent. It shuts off periodically to remind you to preserve water. Shower gel was provided in each stall. The location is convenient, very near the Skanstull metro stop. There’s a grocery store across the street and plenty of cafes in the area. Only three metro stops from the old town and four from central station. It’s also only a short walk from a very cute area with lots of vintage shops.

CanadaI don't have data connection on my cell phone so it was a bit of a drag to be sent the WiFi password by email when I couldn't access it as long as I didn't have access to begin with. It would be nice to have it on display somewhere.

LithuaniaI wish there was a lounge area, because a lot of people stay in the hostel and it’s quite narrow. But it’s cheap for Stockholm so it’s understandable
It was my first time staying in a shared room of 12 people, and it was surprisingly fine. Everyone was very respectful of each other’s limited space and sleep time, clean, quiet. It’s cozy, everyone is nice, the location is great, pretty, a lot of cute cafes around and center nearby. There is laundry, you need to pay 100sek (9€) for it (I think it’s cheaper than regular laundromats). There’s a kitchen, fridge

AustriaHaving guests make their beds would be fine, but when people arrive late to a hostel it can be a burden. Even the most dexterous people cannot put a duvet in its cover on a top bunk in the dark without waking other people.
Great location, services, and facilities for the price.

KuwaitAC was not that stong. i was feeling little hot as there was no fan also in the room.
I booked a private room with a shared bathroom (no window) and stayed for 2 days. While the room was small, it was comfortable and perfectly fine for a short stay. The location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk to public transport, making it easy to get around the city. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. Overall, I had a nice stay and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a budget-friendly, short stay in a well-connected area.
