    On a tram line.

Staff very helpful, because access to hotel is via door code. Town very interesting mix of Jugendstil architecture and large mills driven by water converted to a science park and modern facilities on outskirts of town.

No parking at the hotel. Have to use parking in the streets which are pretty expensive (free from 20-08)

Very friendly staff - when have somebody walked you to your room last? Very nice breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Good location in center of Norrköping.

Lovely stay at The Stand hotel. We have stayed there a few times now and we love the Swedish feel of the place. The staff are very warm and friendly and the location is very central. Tip, if the weather is not so great try the bowling centre close by!

quirky hotel - decor was all over the place and it felt like you staid at a crazy aunt's place. But it worked. Staff was kind. Breakfast was good and copious. Bedding was new and fairly good. rooms were large and well appointed. Showers a bit older but worked. Overall an interesting stay

Check in was a bit different but not an issue. The hotel is on the second floor so you have to be buzzed in or you use a code that was sent in the booking invoice.

Quirky hotel, good location. It was a stopover on a road trip from Copenhagen to Stockholm. Parking is available on street outside but you have to pay a the meter. Its free from 8pm-8am. Breakfast was good nice variety and the view was lovely from the eating area.

Our room was quite small with no room for our luggage- this was fine for a short stay but could be an issue if you plan a longer visit.

The staff at the hotel were lovely and very accommodating. Our room was cosy and the breakfast area and lounge has a great atmosphere.

We stayed in room 130, which is lower standard compared to other rooms, all beds are foldable beds and not comfortable. Furthermore the room did not meet the room description: the wardrobe was stuffed with blankets and pillows, so no room for our clothes was available, the room had no fridge.

It was very difficult to find a parking slot near the hotel late in the evening. There were some stairs from the reception to our room; so no easy access for strollers or elderly people.

The old building was very charming! I loved the atmosphere of the hotel. However, our bathroom was well renovated and new which is positive. Staff was friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

I love the homeliness of this hotel, the comfort and absolute charm. I came back from Australia especially to stay at The Strand. Afternoon tea was one of my favourite things, also the beautiful, cosy bed.

    Nothing.

Quaint rooms. Afternoon tea in the library which had a collection of 19th century bound magazines (including the engineer and London illustrated) plus many other informative books. Breakfast cooked to order. Location on the edge of the city centre next to the river.

Very limited reception times; elevator did not service all floors; bedding could have been fresher. I hardly saw any staff anywhere for the 3 days I was there - that includes reception. Front door locked and dark on arrival.

Too bad the hotel is located on the second floor. Although they have an elevator, it was difficult to reach some of the rooms with the baby stroller.

Wonderful building, beautifully decorated. Great location close to the city centre and industrial heritage site.

The breakfast was not as good as expected from other reviews: scrambled eggs and bacon kettles were always empty... and there was quite little of everything. The breakfast room was also very small and it was hard to find room for a 5-person-family.

The staff was very friendly and the location was excellent right at the city center! The building and rooms were quite nice with their old style.

The room was in another part of the building, down some stairs, into a hallway, out in a new set of stairs, into a new entrance. A very cold room. No reception staff to ask.

Excellent location, nice old building. Decent breakfast.
