On my last night there the water in the shower was barely warm when turned to the hottest setting. I didn’t get a chance to raise this with the staff there so am unsure if this is a common issue or just a one-off thing. It’s also quite a long journey to get to the central area from this hotel which was quite tiring.

It was clean, quiet and comfortable. I stayed in one of the Studio Premier rooms on the top floor and the views of the city were stunning. The pool was great, and having access to a washing machine & dryer (pay to use) was really handy. The kitchen had a small stovetop, microwave, fridge, and all the utensils & plates/bowls/cups needed. The bathroom had large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and hand/body wash.

The master bed was a little small as the tv on the wall operate the bed narrowed the gap to walk through to get to the other side of the bed. There was no hand soap either.

The consideration for sustainability and the environment is clearly a priority for this hotel. We were on the top floor and the views were pretty good. We used the pool and lounge which were very clean, modern and comfortable. Checkin was easy and quick with self sign in at the front door. We ask for a couple of pages to be printed which wasn’t a problem and we also left our bags at reception on the day of checkout so we could explore the area one last time.

Room was modern, clean and the views are nice because all rooms are high up. The staff were great to me because I didn’t like the first room facing Balestier road but they changed me to the back of the building which was quieter and the view was better. Bus stop outside but Grab was cheap so we only used the bus once but it was convenient. Pool area was lovely plus free pool towels. Supermarket at the lobby. We stayed 3 nights then moved to Pan Pacific Marina Bay because work started paying but I actually preferred the Citadines.

The apartment was spacious and clean with a well-equipped kitchenette and washing machine. The bed and pillows were great, and there was a pretty good view over the local shop houses of Balestier Road and beyond. Lots of local eateries around. Nearest MRT is Novena, which was a good 20-minute walk, but local buses would take you there if you're feeling lazy. The pool was a great relaxing area after a day of work or sightseeing. Laundry facilities are also available. The cleaning was done 3 times a week, which was more than needed. All staff were very friendly.

Nice, new and clean facilities. Loved the pool. Not the most central location, but the bus stop is right in front, and there are plenty of eating options around. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

The staff on the front desk were generally unhelpful when we asked for restaurant recommendations, directions for local attractions etc unlike other hotels we stayed at where the staff were always helpful.

Our stay at Citadines Balastier Road was exceptional. It is a family friendly property and It was very clean and comfortable. The location is very good and has access to food and grocery shops nearby. The reception staff was very helpful and courteous. I would love to stay here again. Thank you Citadines.
