Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaI was questioned when o had advised that breakfast was included. Instead of checking they told me it wasn’t only to finally check properly to find that breakfast was included. I advised that I would be checking out earlier on the final day and if I could get something for breakfast. I was advised that they would do a breakfast box pastries or something to come to the entry for breakfast and the would have it ready for me as I had to leave at 5.30 am. When I arrived nothing was ready.

Sri LankaBreakfast used to close down sharp on time. This should be more relaxed as some guests like to have a quiet relaxed breakfast. Towardss the end even staff does not replanish items and just saying its over.
Receptionist Mr. Joe Chew was very helpful and friendly. I ahve met him during my previous visits too but always ready to greet with a smile.

AustraliaI asked for interconnecting rooms, or at least close rooms. As such, my kids were 8 floors below us. Pool area was very slippery. They advertised drinks by the pool but the QR codes to order never worked (we tried several devices & wifi/data options) and there was never a staff person to ask. So we took our afternoon of drinks elsewhere.

Indiathe indian restraunt that has been added 4 months ago leaves much to be desired. and that is being polite. i arrived late on the first night and tried to order dinner. was informed the restraunt was closed but they wud deliver to the room. the food arrived with only 1 plate when the manager who took the order saw there were 2 of us. also the order was for 2 tandoori rotis + nan.. only one roti arrived.. we had to ask for another plate and cutlery. next day i wanted to order lunch at 2 pm and was told the restraunt was closed. which restraunt closes at 2 pm??? seems to me they are not serious about either the food or service and the indian restraunt does not fit into the hotel culture... it seemed they did not hav much business for indian food. that space cud be used for 24 hours coffee shop.
the renovated rooms was clean, comfortable. howevr there is no "health hand shower" next to the toilet- only toilet paper. loved the live music at the bar and the friendly staff at check in... been staying here for years. excellent food, especially bfast.

The location is close to the MRT station. The breakfast was amazing with so many international food options. One thing I want to mention is the smell of the beddings. I've seen reviews that when you lay down to the bedding, it will have a sewage like smell. I also felt the same. You do get used to it, but especially the pillow itself has this odor even when I changed to other pillows. The bathtub was spacious and nice for a soak. The pool is the only part that isn't renovated, so a bit dated and the hot tub is cold. I'm hoping to come back when the pool is renovated. The overall experience was great, and the Christmas menu at the bar and restaurant was also great. The staff were all accommodating.

The actual issue is that the Hotel should allow customers to avail BF at least if they are reaching early morning due to flight schedules. I have experienced this many times, including Singapore. It would be nice to be offered this upfront!
