Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainExtremely basic overall. Some things one shouldn’t necessarily expect (too long to list), but basics such as soap in the dispenser could be checked daily (hint: it wasn’t, and it was missing). Breakfast was also very, very basic. The bathroom had a window with blinds but no glass pane, making it a sauna, and the shower was quite literally above the sink (all in one room).
Good location in the heart of little India. Good air conditioning.

AustraliaThe floors need better sound insulation. I could hear too much of what was going on above me.
This hotel has character. Part of the character is that it is showing its age and is not by any means flash. The breakfast, for example, is very basic but filling. The rooms are small but the doubles are comfortably big enough for one person. But its location is wonderful and it is a good basic choice with all the bare essentials.

Australiano hot water even though I turned switch on, the switch itself did not turn on; tea/coffee maker but no tea or coffee,; frig not cold enough to store perishables; bed just ok - bit hard with depressions here and there towels a bit on discoloured side; switches and some surfaces dirty and I had to clean with Dettol wipes; lift pretty filthy;
Location good - close to 2 MRT stations; room size ok, AC worked efficiently; BF just adequate,; sufficient room furniture and luggage rack: appreciated power board taking all sorts of plugs; good lighting;

United StatesWhen checked in, the receptionist told us the tap water is drinkable. It’s a rare comment when checking in a hotel nonetheless. Later, it was found out there’s no bottled water provided. And, the two cups provided were not the same kind, one is a worn out tumbler and one is coffee mug printed with a celebratory message of a company. As to cleanliness, it’s dusty and needs a deep clean everywhere including guest room and bathroom. Vintages included squeaky floors, really old tables and chairs that showed signs of worn out and faded paints. Bath towels (only two, no wash towels). The lift, probably as old as 1960’s for going to upper floors is antique/vintage that one needs to hold on to the desired floor button until the lift reaches the intended floor otherwise it will stop. Also, it rises very slowly that demands one’s patience. Breakfast starting hour is so late, 8am!
It’s right in the Little India that one could experience days and nights of the culture and customs of India. It’s only a couple of minutes away from a MTR station. Extremely convenient to go everywhere if one bought the traveler day passes. It’s also a good value for the money, a really budget antiqued-vintage hotel that cost conscious travelers won’t mind without the luxuries. Breakfast began at 8am with a small choices including chicken nuggets (only one time out of three days), toast, some cut fruit or bananas, vegetables, etc, instant coffee and tea bags.

AustraliaAdmin is dreadful. Charged me twice for the first nights stay. When I returned later in the month, they denied confirmation of 2 nights accommodation and only had 1 night available. Triple check your confirmations and cross your fingers you only get charged once as they do not want to provide any assistance and loose the ability to communicate!
Simple, clean, affordable accommodation accessible 24hrs

FinlandCommunication with the hotel was very difficult. They didn't reply to messages (on booking, emails, sms). My flight was rescheduled by one day and I informed the hotel two weeks in advance. When they finally answered, they told me to cancel my two-night reservation and make a new one for one night. The reservation was non-refundable on booking.com, but it was possible to request a free cancellation from the hotel. They didn't react to my request nor answered my messages. When arriving at the hotel, they just blamed booking.com and said there is nothing they could do about it. So, I ended up paying for two nights even if I stayed for only one night. They could have just told me from the beginning that it's not possible to cancel one night.
The hotel is clean, and the size of the room was okay (but not a 3-star!). The location is also great.

BangladeshThe triple bed room has stairs to climb to the bed, my mother is old and sick so it was a challenge for her, maybe for young family & guests its not an issue. Just something to be aware of. The room has poor power socket planning. One power socket is up near the ceiling (you have to climb on the chair to reach) and 2 power sockets under the table, again not convenient to reach (one socket is occupied by refrigerator). So charging your phone/gadgets is a hassle. There was a moldy smell in the room but not too much to be unlivable.. Street lights and noise at night may bother some of the guests (this is true for all the hotels in Perak road, loud musics and bright neon signs, so if that bothers you, stay out of the hotels in the area) Price compared to the facility & other nearby hotels a bit higher side. Yes decoration is nice, but that only does not justify the high price.
The decor was excellent, staff behaviour was good, polite and helpful in answering your queries/needs. Room was clean, has safe in room to put away valuables, kettle to make tea/coffee (no satchets provided though). Fridge available in room. The beds and pillows were comfortable for us (though many reviewers complained them to be on the harder side). We had good sleep.

United Arab EmiratesRoom is a Japanese style bedding (mattresses without cots). Room is very cramped - there is no place to stand if two people are in the room with normal luggage(2 suitcases + 2 backpacks). Ceiling is at 6 ft. Bathroom is also very small and water from shower area is difficult to keep from wetting the overall bathroom. There are sounds of people conversing coming (possibly from the street) into the Room till midnight and this can be quite irritating while trying to get to sleep.
Location is the main advantage of this hotel. It is very close to the metro ( Rocher MRT is 250 steps away) and to Little India which means food outlets. Given most hotels force 2 adults to a room in Singapore and this is an exception that allows 3 (kids above 12 years being considered adults) which is a plus.
