Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No minibar. I like to be able to have cold water. I prefer to be closer to city centre. We got cabs. Would sooner have paid more and been more central
The beds were comfortable. Staff were very nice. Nice that it had a pool. Very clean. It was good for what it cost

The room were too congested and the hotel donot have inhouse restaurant and they were unable to provide basis items like spoons, plates, glasses, etc. So a customer can neither order food because they dont have inhouse restro and when the customer orders food they are not provided with the basic items to have food.

i didn't like the floor of the toilet being wet after I take a shower. I think it would be great to have a curtain or something that would keep the water from making the entire toilet wet. Having no way to air out my room. Too many people taking photos at the poolside while you swim in the morning.
The staff is excellent! They are always ready to help. It was great that the hotel was also flexible in arranging change of rooms. The pool was a great way to cool down and move. Weighing scale and drinking water are available at the lobby.

Very Stuffy standard rooms( no windows), not well cleaned. The gym was just one treadmill and not what was expected.
The location was good. Good WiFi. Eateries and stores nearby. One Friendly staff (gentleman) very jovial, welcoming and helpful. When we asked for a different room they changed it.

The bathroom stinks. Room smaller than we thought and we booked triple room. No side table and charging point near the bed. Swimming pool area has no shady spot like outdoor umbrella.
Hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good lots of local eatery around. Shower with hot water was good.

Couple of reception staffs were not very friendly, don’t really smile when communicating.
Location is easily accessible. Parking lots outside the hotel is a cheaper alternative if you drive.

Both the safe and the TV remote had no batteries, and when we called down for an extra blanket (the AC couldn't be turned down), it took 3 calls to make it happen.
The price and the staff are great. The location is also very strategic if you need to be near the Lovina hospital.

The room is small, bathroom and shower is in one which makes it hard to share with 3 of us. Also the hairdryer is stuck to the wall, outside of the bathroom, inside a drawer and it is really hard to use as you have to press down while holding the hairdryer for it to work. Aircon is hard to adjust and often cold. The hotel only provided a thin sheet as blanket which was not warm enough for the elderly.
Location is convenient. Staff is friendly.

Very small, certainly not deluxe! but not bad for Singapore. Shower room and toilet all in one and very small- at one point I went to sit on the loo, accidentally hit the shower tap and got soaked! Pool closed at 6 - bit early we thought.
Comfy bed, good heat and flow shower. Not too far (15 min walk) to Novena MRT. Nice pool, lovely to shake off the heat, towels provided in gym (v.small gym)

Size of room is quite small limited space to move around. Shower room experience could be improved, ie temperature of water is inconsistent.
Value for money, great food nearby and location is easy to travel with bus and to train station.
