Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the breakfast staff is clearly not at the same level. The breakfast is quite good, but we need to take 1h/1h30 to have a meal. They are lost, forgot our drink on first AND second stay. On the second stay they forgot my husband's meal. They are slow but kind and pleasant. Just they need some help I guess.
The staff at the front desk was incredible. They find us a room with a double bed and a bath for my husband who has some knees troubles. Our car battery died the day we were leaving... They call for us the compagny and help us to push the car. Always on top. Thank you a lot.

The strange neon light which goes on when the main door of the room is opened and shut. Once it even turned on in the middle of the night when I got up to use the bathroom... Luckily I was alone. I did not take breakfast in the hotel as I do not enjoy all you can eat buffets.
The location is perfect. One is close to everything. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room good size and very comfortable bed. I was taken ill on my first day and spent the ENTIRE day in that bed and did not regret it a bit. Good pillows and silky smooth cotton sheets. Plus lovely plush bath towels.

Hotel Cubo was amazing. Its in a great position very close to the centre of Ljubljana. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nothing really. I guess being picky, if you wanted a hotel with a lounge / bar, it is limited to seating in reception.
Perfect location to explore Ljubljana. Spacious comfortable rooms, great service and the most amazing breakfasts. Could not fault it.

The doors of the hotel was somehow a little noisy. May be because of the locking mechanism.
Everything were quite good. Staff was very helpful, breakfast was to the point. The complimentary handset in the room was a very good idea, liked it very much.

Absolutely nothing it was a beautiful Hotel!
The Hotel was Clean, Modern, comfortable… in fact it was exceptional! Loved this beautiful hotel what a little Gem of a find! The staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and so very kind and as a solo lady traveller I was straight away made to feel safe and at ease. Thank you!

The temperature in the room at night was a little on the warm side and we could not set this lower than 18C because the hotel was on winter settings. Breakfast was an issue for one of us on a few mornings when there was clearly some rancid ingredient used to toast some brioche buns and some little pieces of bread. Staff attempted to correct this on the second morning by bringing replacement dishes but each time the toast smelled badly and the meal could not be eaten. Avoiding the offending items on subsequent mornings ensured that no further stomach troubles were experienced. Food and ingredients need to be checked thoroughly when cooking to order for guests.
The breakfasts were excellent and served in a lovely dining room by very friendly staff, in particular, Luka. Contrary to some reviews, the a la carte breakfast menu was served very quickly and in some style with lovely attention to detail. In particular, the Italian breakfast was lovely and served with fresh croissants and fruit. The room was lovely and bed linen was changed every few days and towels changed every day. The hotel is very central for all major places of interest. We took Luka's recommendation and visited the observation tower about a 10 minute walk away. The bar on the 12th floor provides a panoramic view of not just the city, but Austria to the north and Croatia and Italy to the south. We also spent a lovely morning in Tivoli Park which also has great views of the city. For a great day out, try a short walk to the bus station where you will find the Line 7 bus to Lake Bled. We thought we had purchased return tickets for Euro 11.40 but these were in fact singles for two. We had plenty of time to enjoy Lake Bled and returned by bus on a shorter route back to the city for a further Euro 11.40. An organised tour would have cost upwards of Euro 100 each.

Nothing not to like! Just a little unsure where to leave the car for valet parking when we arrived as the hotel is on a busy road. However there’s a side street with parking spaces.
Great location in the city, easy to walk to restaurants & bars, although the Hotel restaurant also gets good reviews. Fabulous room- absolutely huge - and very comfortable large bed. Reception staff very friendly & helpful, particularly when I couldn’t open the email with the qr key code!

It is not cheap.
