Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The couch in the living room, was a little bit broken but they took the time to come and fix it. It still is a little small and not so confortable when you are to adults sleeping on it
The location is great, the appartment is clean and looked like the photos. It's perfect to spend some days in Ljubljana!

Only very slight is that maybe a kettle would have been useful.
Lovely clean apartment, the coffee was a nice touch, Gregor was really responsive. The air con was a blessing!

No air-condition in the bedroom, only in the.main room
clean and new, it has a nice kitchen, washing and drying machines. Great host communicates quick and flexible.

If I needed to add something I wish there was an iron and ironing board and paper towels in the kitchen.
We were only there for a short time but loved the apartment. Very modern and close to old town and grocery store. Beds were great and the pillows were the best I think I have ever used. Apartment was very clean and the host had great instructions.

There could be a little more stuff in the kitchen such as cups, napkins and extra linen just in case, especially for people traveling with kids.
Cleanest appartment I have ever seen. You can eat of the floor, everything was spotless! Owner was also great and resolved quickly small iseue we had upon arrival.

My only disappointment was the sofa bed which is too hard to use as a bed. We were 4 adults and it was acceptable since we had only one night otherwise it would have been very uncomfortable.
The apartment is clean, modern, comfortable and in a good location. It has a good size bedroom and a big bathroom. The communication with the owner was excellent.

Everything was fine.
The apartment was perfect for two adults and a teenager. The location was very good, within walking distance to the city centre. The apartment was nice and clean, and it had everything we needed. We only stayed one night, but we would have loved to stay longer. We highly recommend staying here.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable.the kitchen was filled with almost all needed things.they have a parking only for guests.in the building are 4 apartments for renting.

Spacious and nicely decorated apartment. Located about half an hour walk from the city center. Free parking space available. Well-equipped kitchen although I missed some basic spices like salt/pepper. Good communication with the owner.

I liked it all, but I would advice that the suppletory sofa bed is pleased prepared in advance. A towell for the feet in the shower would have been extraordinary.

The location is the only downside to this property as it is slightly away from the city center. However, Ljubljana is small as everybody kept saying in the reviews, so all in all not a big issue.
The whole building is very clean and modern. The apartment we had was also very clean and comfortable. The communication was excellent and the check in was very easy. Parking there was very easy and free. I really appreciated that shoes are not allowed inside the apartment and they provide slippers to use indoors.

It would be great to have a kettle in the kitchen.

We were so, so pleased with the accommodation! The accommodation has everything you need. I think the host's attitude and the overall accommodation were both great. You will love how comfortable it is, and you'll find it incredibly clean too. Amazing! You can reach the city centre by walking.
