I didn't find a bar of soap in the bathroom nor a a small shampoo bottle, ideally any bathroom should have at least a bar of soap for guests to wash their hands with, a shampoo i can get by myself but they should be there.

I loved the breakfast, they have a variety of food to choose from, jam, nutella where you can spread over toast, there's cheese and ham. It was a good breakfast The bed was super comfortable i slept like a baby The bathroom facilities were great as well The location is very good, right in the middle of the bohinj area, if you want to go left to Ukanc and the waterfall, ur half way there, if you want to go to bohinj lake and the tourist information area, you're half way there also :) I had a minor accident with the bike i rented from them and the lovely woman katarina from the reception patched me up with the bandage and helped a lot, so thank you katarina :)

Our stay at Hostel pod Voglom was amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed the overall vibe of the hostel, especially the atmosphere: the wall painting in the room, the decore and book exchange room, the close proximity to the lake was a cherry on top. An excellent place for good thoughts

Breakfast -if you’re vegetarian or vegan they don’t have options.. for vegan just cornflakes. Some hummus and veggies would be perfect.

The hostel needs a bit of a clean up of gear/junk that previous travellers have left behind. Kitchen needs more crockery, and basic utensils for simple cooking, like a strainer.

The staff were fabulous. I rented a bike to look for a restaurant. I was a few villages down the mountain when a wild thunderstorm hit with torrential rain. It was dark and the roads were flooded. I was quite worried for my safety. When the girls from the hostel noticed I hadn't returned the bike by 6pm, they sent a search party! I was rescued!

bathroom wasn't so clean The walk from the main village to hostel at night was creepy, not even one single street light, with the forest on the left and the whole dark lake at the right, total darkness for half an hour.

The bathroom was cramped and smelled fairly strongly like urine while I was there. Needed alot more attention to keep it clean and odorless.

For those who want to explore the outdoors around Lake Bohinj, this is a brilliant location, situated as it is right on the lake. Also they have alot of really great bikes plus paddleboards and kayaks (I believe)--so it's really set up for the outdoor adventurer. Also the breakfast was quite good and food was available throughout the day which was super convenient as i.t wasn't particularly close to any grocery stores and restaurant choice was limited in Lake Bohinj.

Exactly what you would expect from a hostel, good location right next to the lake with parking at the back. Rooms are small but clean, with a descent bathroom. Breakfast was basic, but enough to fill you up before the day, set menu dinner is good value and saves you the hassle of driving someplace else to eat. Staff at the reception and restaurant are friendly.

Great location, and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. The rooms were clean and with sinks so that was practical for brushing teeth etc. Not that many bathrooms for number of rooms but didn't seem to be a problem.

The bathroom was completely out of date and need some renovation. Shower clogged. Paper thin walls, you can hear the other rooms peeing Room temperature cold and beds not really comfortable. I cannot understand why the blankets are so short for adult people.

As others have also mentioned, the breakfast was a bit underwhelming. Also, there is no elevator, which could be a concern for some (our room was on the fourth floor).

All in all, the room was nice and comfortable although quite dated. The place has a friendly atmosphere, it is a great choice for travelers who want to feel connected to nature. We brought our own SUP boards and could access the lake literally after crossing the road outside the. It is also a pet friendly hostel, which was important for us.

In the private room, there was mold in the shower and it was a bit stuffy.

Very nice location, friendly hosts and a lot of activities to do around the hostel. Breakfast was OK and dinner was very good for its price . The dorms and shared facilities were good.

The breakfast was very basic and not much options for vegetarians. We also found the outdoor cafe/var Staff quite grumpy and one a little rude.

The hostel is located right next to the lake which is great with many activities to do. There is also a bus stop right outside the hostel going to Bled/Ljubljana. The room has a balcony also which is a bonus for the price.
