Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

As a solo female traveller, I was placed in a 8 bed dorm with a group of 7 older men who were all travelling together. I did not feel comfortable with this as a woman alone.
Comfy beds, good facilities and nice staff.

Take lots of cash with you. There is a cash deposit needed for everything! Kitchen facilities are very limited.
The staff are very helpful. There is a lot of social space on each floor. The bar is open late.

It was extremely hot outside, and the one available fan did not properly cool the room. Air-conditioning would have been _very_ welcome.

The only thing to note is that the music can be heard in some rooms until the early hours. I think our room was located in a particularly loud spot. We expected it though so it definitely didn’t stop us enjoying our stay. It was only our final night before an early flight that we found it a little difficult (but ear plugs are available to buy!)
It’s a fantastic and vibrant place with lovely staff! The location was great and in close walking distance of everything you need. We loved the decor and having the bar downstairs. We also loved joining the bar crawl and getting to meet other travellers.

The showers were not private enough and had no place to leave your belongings, very uncomfortable walking through the halls in a towel

The showers are not great, sometimes only cold water, and there’s barely place to put your towel in the cabin without it getting wet.
Super nice location with a cosy bar downstairs. The hostel organises a pub crawl every day which makes it so easy to get to know the people! There’s a kitchen in each hallway and enough showers ald bathrooms for the whole floor. Each bed gets a huge locker as well but make sure to bring your own padlock!

If you need to sleep like me, this hostel is not a good option. I am writing this for information purposes, not as a negative comment. The hostel description already states this. But I found the environment to be noisier than I expected, and it was still going on at 6 in the morning. It probably isn't like this every night, but it was definitely like this on Saturday night, know that and decide accordingly. The toilet doors don't create a sense of privacy. You put your stuff on the floor under the beds in the rooms, and you can put a lock on the door if you want. It would be better if there were a drawer with slides or wheels for your stuff.
The hostel's atmosphere is very successful; the interior design is very nice. The staff is great. I wasn't there for the party, but those who stayed there for the party would be very pleased. The location is central, you can easily walk everywhere. This could be one of the best locations, especially if you use the train or bus. Finally, in general, it is a nice hostel and it is fair enough. You just need to know what you expect!

I got a dermal infection either in this hostel or the one i stayed before. My body was itching for a few days, i got red rush - needed to visit a doctor and take some meds. Though I cannot be sure if it happened here - I will mention this in case somebody had the same problem. It was exactly 24 hours after i left this place when i noticed the decease. The previous place was way more cleaner than this one.
There is a nice bar downstairs, you can meet a lot of people. There is a particular nice vibe in there and if i was traveling as a student with my friends i would probably love that place.

There were communal toilets and showers no easy way to get dressed privately unless in a small shower cubical (which may be wet after shower) or toilet. But that will only be a minor issue for a few
As a disclaimer I stayed here for the location to the train station. If I/anyone I knew was looking for a party hostel I would recommend it was definetly set up for that vibe.
