We were given a room at the front but had to move at 1:30 am due to noise from the bar across the street. You do not want a room at the front of the hotel as there is no air conditioning and you need the windows open . Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired too. We booked king size rooms if we got them they have tiny kings, shower was very small too. No idea how this hotel is rated as 4* and there is no way I’d stay there again .

The breakfast was good , ample parking

Great location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, right in the centre of picturesque Kranjska Gora with excellent hiking and walking possibilities nearby. For winter time, it seems it offers ski-in ski-out.

The beds were very very uncomfortable, too soft and I could feel every single spring on my body. The cleanliness of the room was not bed, but I can hardly believe that the cleaning lady did anything but making the beds every day( no vacuum cleaning, cleaning of the tub, etc,.). When they made the room, the blankets were put on the bed, but not nicely but just thrown, so that half of it was on the floor. Despite this is a "green" hotel, taking care ofthe environment, the house keeping threw away the soap every day! Every day I have opened a new small soap and after cleaning it was not there, but they provided new ones. One other thing that is very annoying is the balcony lighting. It is on until 11 pm (?). No matter if you want it or not. As there is no air conditioning in the rooms, on hot summer days you need to keep the windows open for the night, but you cannot as the balcony is too much lighted and you can hear others sitting outside on other balconies. This should be possible to be switched individually.

We really liked the breakfast, it absolutely exceeded our expectations. Last year we stayed at the other Ramada hotel in Kranjska Gora, and the buffet breakfast was much better here. We also tried the dinner, which was also nice. The location and the friendlyness of the staff was above expected.

Great resort but hotel could do better.

    • Stayed 5 nights

We had booked a king room with a balcony but were allocated one of the few rooms which did not have a balcony. The only vacant room with a balcony was on the third floor where all the other rooms were occupied by visiting football teams. We therefore had little choice but to stay in the original room. The staff were apologetic and gave us a free evening meal by way of compensation. However, we were disappointed. The room we had was spacious but dated. The en-suite ceiling was stained, probably as a result of a leak at some time. Our view was mainly of the roofs of ground floor buildings. Overall the hotel needs updating so that the quality matches the prices charged.

This is a hotel where you won't starve. There was a wide choice of food at the buffet breakfast and the optional evening meal was good value for 14 euros. This meal was also a buffet with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and the service good overall. Rooms were clean but were in need of refurbishment.

    • Superior Twin Room - Non-Smoking
    • Stayed 1 night

For more than 110 eur per person per night the standard and quality of the rooms was nowhere near the price point, the room was outdated, bathroom could be cleaner. Scented pillows and bathrobe was available only for an additional cost. There was also an option to upgrade the room for additional cost, which is proposterous. TV was only basic cable plus the TV remote didn't work. Also we had to call reception for our door lock to be fixed. For the aforementioned price one should get a much higher standard than we received. For the price, the hotel pool was included, but saunas were an additional cost, which is also outrageous. The hotel could also use a garage, since your car can get buried in snow if it snows a lot.

Perfect location at the tip of the slopes, rich breakfast (but nothing spectacular), nice lobby with a bar.

The room was far too warm to feel comfortable. Also, the furniture inside is very old, the bathroom looked like from last century, with very little room to even leave your toiletries. The breakfast was very modest, and quite honestly., the restaurant manager was not too much a warm person, we didn't feel welcome for whatever the reason. Could be a pure misunderstanding, though.

The very best about this hotel is location. if you plan to go skiing, the slopes are literary in front of your hotel. The room looked clean, and the bed was also comfortable, which was the most important thing. We have not used the wellness and sauna, so we can't comment on that

Our superior room was very pokey and the bathroom even smaller. A standard room could not be any smaller so it must have an inferior view. Any woman larger than size 16 could not get into the shower. It was impossible to put any toiletries anywhere without them falling into the basin or the loo. It got cold in the evening but no heating was provided and some diners wore their coats. The hot food at the buffet dinner and breakfast was tepid (in fairness, this is often the case with this arrangement). Pool towels were not provided free; they could be hired for €1 or €2 but this seems stingy in a 4* hotel.

The pool is the big draw here. It is huge and warm but see below. The staff on reception were excellent.

I have no idea how this is rated so highly or how it is a 4 star hotel. Rooms are small and old. Looks like they have not been updated since the 1980's. Bed is awful. Old, soft, you can feel the springs. Mattress really horrible. Shower is made for someone with no arms and no place to put soap or any toiletries in shower or bathroom. Cleaning staff tried to burst in at 830am without knocking. If I had not put the chain on they would have walked in on my getting into shower. They overcharged. This is not what you expect from a Hotel branded Ramada

The view from the room was amazing, position of hotel is great.

Cleanleness and the terrible smell in the bathroom. Our friends had to change rooms during the 1st night because of the same problem. I am not expecting such issues in a **** hotel!!! Unfair marketing practive was another issue: the hotel is advertised that it has an indoor pool, but they do not tell that one has to pay extra 9 €/3 hours! In a **** hotel this is totally unacceptable. They should renovate this facility very fast and change their rip-off attitude.

The breakfast was fine, but they could have avoided offering juice made of powder, it was horrible.

1.Room seemed unused for a long time - smelt that way. 2.shower cabin appears to be meant for people with no arms - too small. 3. Shower door is leaky with fungus in the border of doors. 4. Water draining from both shower and washbasin is extremely slow...needs serious unclogging. 5. Hair dryer holder on wall was falling apart. 6. No place/shelves in the shower to put your shower gel. Tricky to use shower gel or shampoo. 7. No space on the washbasin to put even a toothpaste and no shelves in bathroom to put anything - All toiletries have to be stored in the living room. 8. The extractor fan in the bathroom is a joke. 7. Toilet features different shades ranging from white to dark beige' althhough the original intended colour was white im sure. 8. Mattress - comfortable although comes without mattress topper - cant escape the odd spring that gets to your bone. 9. One plug-point in the bed area near the table. One near the floor of bathroom - none next to beds. Totally useless. 10. Rooms filled with advertisement material from ramada. 11. The motto 'Leave the rest to us" doesbt quite apply here. Those above are few of the things ramada's motto should cover as a basic necessisity. Would love to know who designed the interior and for what purpose? If it was frustration and 'make the best use of whats there' that was the intent - the designer did a fantastic job. It would also be useful to see if this really is a 4 star. Either slovenian 4 star standards are low OR this hasnt been re-evaluated for 20 years or so. I would bump it down to a 3 star at best.

Breakfast was very good with a wide variety. Swimming pool was well maintained.

"...features an indoor pool..." Yes, it does. However, it would be fair to add that there is no discount for hotel guests and so - if you return from the hike late afternoon - you have to pay full price for 3 hours though you cannot make it till 6.00 p.m. (the spa section is open till 9.00 p.m.). Also, any use of the bathrobe is charged, even opening of the plastic bag with it! A bit strange for a four star resort.

Staff are generally not polite and "just do the job" without smile on the face or respecting the guest in most of the cases. Of course there are people who are different but it is not a policy there but the thing of their good will unfortunately.

    Location right on the slopes

Nothing for kids to do at night - no sledding or anything so the halls and lobby is alive with young children running and screaming. They really need to do a lot more to get people outside - should not be a big stretch as they already have night skiing. Put in a sled run and some ice skating with music and expand the resort ski area and you will have a good ski destination. The hotel rooms are very small and cramped and beds not comfortable - shower is smaller than a phone booth - if you remember what they are!

Rooms were tired and noisy, food was poor and it was a shame that the sauna facilities weren't inclusive. It left me with a feeling that we weren't given good value for money.

Unbelievable location right at the bottom of the ski slopes/chair lifts and with lovely friendly staff.

In the meeting dinner, instead of wine, I would like to drink beer, however, the waitress told me no. Although I gave the hotel 20 Euro for the dinner, I had no chance to select my drink.
