Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThere's a kettle and coffee in the room, but no tea. The shower head didn't really stay in place, which was frustrating!
The room was very comfy, with a nice bed and a small but adequate ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was lovely - lots of options including soya milk plus freshly cooked eggs. The staff were really helpful, and let me check in a little early on a miserable wet day! They also let me store my bags after I'd checked out. The location is great, not far from the lake and all the shops/restaurants.

New ZealandThe only slight irritation on some late evenings, was the noise of wood chairs/ furniture by there movement on the solid floors in rooms above. This is more down to occupants of the rooms and not the hotel, can't be helped.
The Hotel staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Local knowledge and advice was really helpful and made our holiday even more enjoyable. The hotel was like home from home. The hotel restaurant was very popular and provided very good food and value. Can't say enough and would definitely return without hesitation, thank you for a lovely holiday.

United StatesUnfortunately, our terrace was off limits due to needing a door repair. The room was comfortable, but wished there was a little something nice to see from the windows.
Welcoming greeting at the front desk when we arrived and also when we departed. Cute room and just a short walk to the lake. We did not eat at the restaurant, but it was packed and seemed to have a great vibe. We love staying at unique places, and this certainly very unique.

SloveniaMy room was directly above the restaurant, I somehow managed, but if you’re a light sleeper going to bed before 10.30 PM, this could be a challenge.
The Old Bled House is perfectly located, as the name implies, it’s an old house but well renovated in genuine local style. My room was small but it offered the needed comfort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The free parking at the property is very convenient and quite a luxury in Bled! Would visit again!

CroatiaAlthough everything else was 10/10, as the building itself is very old, walls are quite thin so you can hear the neighbours if they are being noisy or loud.
The location is amazing, there is parking on site and the hotel looks lovely. We had breakfast in the morning, it had quite a few options and lactose free/vegan milk. Can’t wait to come back!

United StatesWe stayed on the top floor so it was warm at night. There is an AC in the room though. I think the weather has just been much hotter than expected for the area.
Great location! Very close to the lake and restaurants. The hotel is very charming and has a lot of character! We loved the authentic feel. The room was pretty small, but we expected that so it was ok. We had a few appetizers for a late dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious!! Overall recommend!

Very quaint accommodation and within walking distance to the lake. The two room set up was perfect for our family of four.

All the staff were very welcoming and super helpful and went out of their way to give us local tips. The room was lovely with good ac (very hot weekend) which had been thoughtfully turned down prior to our arrival so the room was lovely and cool. Appreciated the fridge to keep our drinks cool. Altho we didn’t use them the SOS kit on each floor with all sorts of emergency toiletries was a lovely idea. Breakfast was really nice with lovely homemade cakes and cookies and as well as the cold buffet eggs were available to order. 5 minutes walk in to town, 5 minutes from the bakery and lots of restaurants nearby. The lake is beautiful and we hope to return for longer soon.
