United KingdomQuite a lot of light and switches to work out, needed a longer stay than 1 night to understand them all...
Good value package to include dinner, bed and breakfast. Good buffets for dinner and breakfast Everything was fine in the room. I was walking part of the Sloveneian Mountain Trail so apprepeciated a bit of comfort (although the hotel is a couple of km off the main trail). Staff were helpful in checking for my next night accommodation on the trail. Note that reception is shared with Hotel Planja. Also be aware that Rogla is a big centre for sports so there can be a lot of school parties etc in the accommodation area.

We stayed for three nights. Rooms are desing renovated, not big, but very nice and clean. Breakfast and dinner as well was very good and very diverse. Staff was very friendly. Our rooms had balcony away from the road. All around are beautiful spruce forests, with cows grazing on the meadows. Very good location for hiking.

SloveniaThe conference room was quite cold. The chairs were uncomfortable! The female staff at the Stara koča restaurant were not the friendliest. The walls were a bit too thin as I could hear the neighbours talking all the time.
Breakfast was very good with lots of options. The same goes for dinner. The Stara koča restaurant offers hearty meals - I recommend it if you want a taste of the local cuisine. The room was very clean with a nice, comfortable bed. I especially loved their shower. Most of the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

CroatiaThe hotel is right on the begining of the ski slopes, so after the breakfast you just put on your ski equipment and start skiing :) The hotel is freshly renovated so the rooms feel clean, nice and comfortable. The food selection has a sufficient variety (you could find gluten free bread (wrapped), vegan 'milks', etc.). We didn't use the wellness or swimming pool, because we chose the wellness in hotel Natura just a minute away (it was included in the package that we had for hotel Rogla) and we went there several times and it was perfect - there is no swimming pool so there are fewer people and it is more peaceful, there are 5 saunas and 2 hot tubs. One sauna and one hot tub are on the terrace with panoramic view, so we went there while it was snowing... very nice :)

CroatiaNobody answers the phone, so it was impossible to get any additional information or change the reservation. Staff is generally not friendy and helpful, except the waiters in Stara Koča. If you come a bit later for a dinner, not much food will be disposable, they are not replacing trays after some time, scarce with fruit.
Ski slopes are very near hotel. Room is refurbished and nicely decorated. Playroom with TV and activities for kids. Ski rental at the hotel. Breakfast is good.

CroatiaThe bed mattress is a bit hard. Dinner was not very enjoyable. Although there’s a great variety of choice (even vegan and gluten free options), it lacks taste and doesn’t seem like too much effort is put into preparation. Breakfast is better, but also could be improved.
Very modern, clean and nicely decorated rooms, with a little terrace from which you get to enjoy a beautiful view in the morning. The restaurant Stara koča within a hotel also has a nice and cozy terrace with mountain view.

SloveniaHotel is a maze, on the first day it was difficult to find our room, got lost searching for sauna, got lost searching for restaurant.
Beautiful room with excellent bed, breakfast was also superb with a lot of healthy food. The saunas were made in the style of an old Slovenian house, very cute and very hot.

CroatiaBathroom and room connection - When you close the door and sit on a toilet, you can see bed in the bedroom. Also, from the toilet, you can see next to the mirror who is approaching the room through the main doors. There is no any hanger for towels in the bathroom. While paying residence tax, they charge an extra 3eur for registration for each adult!!!

CroatiaThe hotel is not marked, i.e. there is no hotel name on the building. There is no sign where the rooms are located. I wandered around the hotel and then returned to the reception, the receptionist took me to the rooms but the directions to them were nowhere to be seen. iI's the same with a restaurant, you enter a room and stumble upon a restaurant. The hotel is basic, but it's pleasant, I only recommend the management to better mark where things are located.

SloveniaThe room is too tiny for a stay longer than two days. With 17 m2 in total, they have succeeded in squeezing all that is necessary into the "room." However, there is barely enough space for one person in the room's corridor. I can not imagine using this room in winter with more luggage and all the thick ski clothes.
The hotel offers delicious breakfast and dinner, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The surrounding trails to Lovrenška Lakes or Hut Pesek are well-designed and signed.
