My room was located next to the climate machine for the whole building, so it way noisy and we didn't open the window - not what I expected for a 200€/night room. The robes we got were a little torn and towels are clean but have a lot of yellow spots on them (may be vrey old) - doesnt look nice.

The view is beatuful and the service by the pool is great - you just scan the menu and order via phone. The staff is very friendly.

Staying at SIBON is like a visit to a hospitable friend. It is a highlight of our every trip to Slovenia. We love the view from a swimming pool and walks around the vinyards. Breakfasts are always delicious. We have and will again come back.

A wonderful boutique hotel surrounded by beautiful vineyards. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, with excellent service that makes you feel truly welcome. The pool is fantastic, offering stunning views of the vineyards – the perfect spot to unwind. The local wine is absolutely delicious and worth trying. Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

Spa area is somewhat limited, with only 2 of 3 saunas operational. Somehow, I've got a feeling that the water in the bath-tube is not often exchanged. Rooms are rather small, with fairly modern furniture. A proper wardrobe is missing, there are only cloth-stands with hangers. There is no mini bar, just an empty micro-fridge, disconnected (with a very loud fan when connected). Spa coats allegedly come only in one size, not suitable for normal-sized persons. Food (dinner) is pretty expensive. Our room had a view to a pool - definitely not very attractive in the summer, when the pool is operational.

The surrounding area and the view are splendid! Food is fine but expensive. Also, the food variety is pretty limited. Staff is friendly, but definitely needs some more training and polishing. Splendid breakfast - eggs, cold-cuts, bread, croissants, coffee, fruits, yogurt, orange juice, tea, butter, jam, honey, corn- and oat-flakes, dried fruits...

I find for the price I expected slightly higher quality. hotel bar has a very small selection of liquors, the spa outside hot tubs sometimes didn't work, and the 45 eur dinner was overpriced for what it was.

stylish, clean, and generally good quality of everything from room to spa area. staff was generally nice and the whole experience was very pleasant. we went in winter and even then there were options to eat out, shop etc.

The property is new and very-well maintained. I liked the facilities (especially the spa) and the room which was quite big and impeccable. The views are incredible, and the food was great. Staff are extremely nice and professional and have helped me immediately when I contacted them with a lost item.

The arched wine cellar provides a pleasant ambience for breakfast. Seeing the old brick oven brings a smile to one’s face, as memories of freshly baked, homemade bread come to mind. Once guests dig into the bread, though, the taste is vastly different. We wished there were more authentic flavours in such a great ambience.

The bliss of uncovering lesser-known destinations is even greater when meandering roads that offer incredible views of the wine-growing region. Today, when overtourism is making headlines, locations off the beaten track are what guests cherish even more. Hospitality, pristine nature and rich cultural heritage outweigh the lengthy travels from urban centres. We must congratulate investors for recognising the estate's potential and lovingly and responsibly transforming it into an excellent boutique hotel with sustainability in mind. During our visit, the hotel was fully booked. The structure of guests will likely change considering the direction they will chart in terms of quality and price policy. We suggest booking Hotel Sibon for your next business event or incentive programme! Looking at the estate from the exterior is disparate from looking inside. Completely renovated rooms are spacious, fresh and elegant. Once you have savoured the views and hiked across the vine-growing hills, you will be delighted to return to the hygge atmosphere of the room. The outdoor infinity pool of Hotel Sibon, serving incredible vistas of the surrounding vineyards, is complemented by a spa centre with two saunas, a relaxation area, a massage house and two outdoor jacuzzis heated during the winter. With the help of a QR code on the sunbeds alongside the pool, you can submit your order for a desired beverage. The staff will serve you with a thankful grin. The hotel website advertises haute cuisine, significantly raising the expectations of guests. In reality, the culinary product does not live up to the expectations. Sometimes, it is better to stick to tried-and-tested local dishes. There is also room for improvement at breakfast by including and mentioning local suppliers.

    We liked everything.

Beautiful, with large, stylish comfortable rooms, gorgeous pool and spa area and the best views. So peaceful- rolling hills, with vines as far as you can see with the mountains in the distance. This is quite a place. Wine list is extensive and local - and good! Food delicious. 5 course set menu each night. But the hotel will recommend and book other local restaurants for you if you fancy a change.

It is very hard to provide any drawbacks, it is a bit costly and it was not possible to order a smaller dinner than the full package. I was really happy with the stay

I had a fantastic stay at a beautiful hotel in Slovenia. The place was spotlessly clean, and the personnel were incredibly kind and helpful. They even proposed changing my room for convenience. The location was perfect, offering stunning views, especially from the pool. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, making my stay very enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Slovenia!
