The only thing that could bother you is the parking lot traffic throughout the nigh that can disturb your sleep if you feel like sleeping with the open window, but it was a minor inconvenience.

Cozy, clean, comfortable apartment situated close to Izola and Portorož. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and to feel like coming back.

Our room was next to shared bathroom and we could hear everything going on there. So I woke up with the first guest using the shared bathroom. The walls are thin even between rooms, you can hear your neighbours. The same problem with room on the first floor - you can hear people spending time on the square. Breakfast has a great potential for improvement, it was rather simple, almost no veggies. There are two roads to Korte, one of them is really steep with zigzag turns. The other one is much better.

Beautiful location, but only when you are traveling by car. Nice views, quiet environment. Close to Portorose and Piran. Beautiful building of former school with a square where you can chill out or play table tennis or park a car :) Furniture was new and in good condition. Wide bed. Helpful staff.

The room was a little small once all three beds were put to use - but would be perfectly spacious enough for a couple

Stara Sola Korte is perched up on a hill in the small village of Korte, with stunning valley views either side. Parking is plenty when you include the parking to the west of the building. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to answer questions and make recommendations. The room was very comfortable and the shower room - although small - very clean and had some lovely 'products' available for use. The bed was very comfortable and it was extremely quiet at night. Breakfast had a lot of choice - meats, cheeses, eggs, sausages, toast, cereal yoghurt, fruit, sweet pastries,, juices, coffee, teas etc We loved the location as it was remote but very close to Piran, the salt pans of Sečovlje, Strujan Park (nice clifftop walk), Italy and Croatia. Stara Sola korte is probably only suitable for people with a car or very keen cyclists!

Not so nice place to stay in winter due to the cold in the room (bad heating, poorly sealed windows).

It is inevitable that with construction underway in the extension, parking was a little limited.

This wonderful establishment is in perfect harmony with its wonderful location and surroundings. The provision of an electric bicycle, free of charge, was marvellous and allowed us to very quickly explore and discover different parts around Korte. Great staff all round!

Our room was semi-basement, which made it feel a little bit claustrophobic, but for one night it was OK. A mosquito net would be a good idea for the windows, so opening the window would not be a problem.

Location is reachable in 15 minutes from the beach, but it is quite high up on the hill, with narrow roads. The panorama was nice though! Breakfast was also really good for this price! There was air-conditioning in the room, which was perfect in the hot summer.

It would be perfect if we had our own bathroom, not shared one. Not that the bathroom wasn't good or something, but the stay would have been perfect with our own bathroom. I could find an option with private bathroom when reserving the room, and I'm not sure is there one. Also the reading lamp has too short cable to plug it beside bed, so you cannot read in bed with it, which is really a shame.

Beautiful hostel in a picturesque village, very quiet at night. The staff is easy-going and friendly, you feel welcomed and relaxed. You can even get free bicycles to explore surroundings which is absolutely amazing, hills and meadows and little villages on top of the hills, and this time of the year is particularly beautiful you have to ). I saw sauna doors but not sure if it is in use, it would be good that it is, we didn't have time to ask. The breakfast was great,

Amazing property, I felt like I was in Tuscany and Istria at the same time. Very pet friendly, awsome staff, clean rooms, very quiet.

No heating, only aircon = bad in winter. Management of claims - wet and cold room have been claimed and stay was cancelled but promised return of paid money was not done even after 2 months
