Would be useful to know about the deposit required upfront. Personally we wouldn’t stay somewhere requiring a large cash deposit. Sorting that out became a quite significant mental effort for a 36 hour stay.

Igor is a fantastic host, and met us when we arrived even though it was late and gave us good information about Ljubljana and many other parts of Slovenia. The apartment is a great space and a good location to be based, but really Igor was first class. We had no issues, but if we did I know I could contact Igor with no fuss whatsoever. Thank you Igor!

This place is very nice, we felt at home, Igor was amazing, he is a SUPER HOST! Always very careful about us. The apartment is very nice, two levels, full kitchen, coffee and tea. It has no common shower, instead there is a tub. Downtown was 15 min walking thru a beautiful street full of commerce and restaurants. Laundry service is 5 min walking, it was very useful for us!

These small things didn't bother us but just to flag that the steps up to the loft bedroom mezzanine are steep, and the apartment does get light very early with the sun in summer.

Lovely warm welcome from our host Igor, who gave us lots of very helpful tips for our trip too. The apartment is a good size for 2 people with a good kitchen, bathtub, lots of light, and air con. It feels very much like a home. The apartment is only a short walk to the centre and other sights, as well as Tivoli Park. The washing machine was a bonus for us too.

Great location, great value in Ljubljana. This apartment is located in a three story, former tobacco factory that is mostly offices. When you pull up your going to question your choice. Free parking. Host is awesome and in a few short minutes you are on the river in old town. Apartment is small put well equiped and very tastefully decorated. Tight spiral staircase to the loft queen bed and single bed. Ground floor has kitchen, bathroom and couch. Plenty of coffee, large refrigerator and laundry machine. Better than most we stay in. If you are into glamour stay somewhere else but if you appreciate value, location and a great, helpful host this is for you.

A very short walk to the city and plenty of coffee shops and food options. It’s cold outside but so warm and cosy in the apartment and my daughter loved the large bath tub.

The only downsides were the occasional power outages, likely due to the circuit breakers, and my personal preference for a shower stall instead of a bathtub.

The accommodation was lovely! The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of storage space, the kitchen was fully equipped, and everything was beautifully decorated, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. Igor is an extraordinary and incredibly cheerful person. He gave us so many valuable tips about the city – it was a real pleasure getting to know him!

Igor and location made our stay! He’s a tremendous host and so knowledgeable about Ljubljana (he has some great recommendations!) and Slovenia. Ljubljana is an easily walkable city - it was great to be so centrally located and to be able to park the car and not need to worry about it.

All three of us had a great stay in the apartment. The apartment is very well equipped, everything you need is there and everything was extremely clean and well organized. Igor is also a great host. We didn’t stay long enough, but when we come back we will be sure to stay with Igor again and take him out for a coffee.

I actually think everything was perfect.

Easy to reach, very close to the city center, parking just outside the building, an old tobacco factory that is fascinating. Everything is cured in details in the apartment which was built by Igor, maybe the best host I ever had in all of my journeys.

There was an expectation of a greater view of the castle from the window, but in fact you can see the castle in 10 minutes on foot.

The kind owner of the apartment, Igor, met us, handed over the keys, told us everything and showed us the map. The apartment was clean, everything was as pictured. This apartment is located in an old building which was a tobacco factory. Free parking near the entrance. I recommend apartments for a comfortable stay in Ljubljana!

The cash deposit is a bit nerve-racking, I think that Igor's standards are high and he takes a lot of pride in his apartment, but felt that he was very open and trustworthy.

The space of the apartment is brilliantly organised and makes a very comfortable stay. Some reviews weren't crazy about the building but I really liked it - it's got genuine character and gives you a real feel for Ljubljana as it's filled with both residents and creative businesses. It was peaceful at night and people were verty friendly. The location is fantastic - ideally situated for exploring th city centre and Tivoli park. Igor was a great host - he is very knoweldgable and has a lot of useful and fasciniating information about Ljubljana and Slovenia. He was very accommodating and responsive.

The day after I left I received a message from Igor asking if I had damaged his bath. I had no idea what he was talking about as I had only had a very quick shower in it whilst there. The next day I find that my bank card has been cancelled due to ‘fraudulent activity’. It appears Igor tried to use my payment to book the premises, to pay for the alleged damage without my knowing. This is a pity as he seemed to be a nice guy. Just beware.

The apartment is perfect for two people, is very nice and have all comfort, it is also at 10 Min by walk to the center of Lubiana. The owner Igor is very friendly, he gave us some information about the city and it was very helpful. I suggest it to everyone

It’s a matter of taste, bathing style & mobility: - some will love a jacuzzi with hand held shower & no shower curtain, others would prefer a different bathing / showering arrangement. Getting in & out of the jacuzzi was fine for us, but won’t suit people with mobility issues. Castle view is via the bathroom window (see tower in picture).

Quirky two-level apartment in the old tobacco factory; walking distance or a quick bus ride to the centre of town. Some lovely cafes, a great Italian restaurant & inexpensive cafes / bakeries nearby.
