Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is awesome. You can walk to both ski lift locations easily. It is a bit out of the central part of the Donovaly ski center which is nice and calm. However you can walk there in 10 minutes.

the staff was very helpful, the ambiance of the hotel was very charming. there was everything in the room we needed. it is a very good point for skiing, hiking etc. there was 2 doors between the room and the corridor, which helped a silent, calm night.

HungaryBEWARE, THERE IS NO HOT WATER AVAILABLE, SOME STAFF MEMBERS ARE RUDE AND AGRESSIVE !!! After our stay we realised that our apartment comes with limited hot water supply, probably because of a faulty water heating system. Hot water was only available for 2-3 minutes only when it ran out and only cold water was remaining. It took about an hour to get hot water again, but only for another 2-3 minutes. This information was not available in the description at the time we made our booking, we expected running hot water like with any normal facility in the region. I told the receptionist lady to check on the water heating system. She was quite rude and come to our apartment sticking to that our accomodation is just “studio” so this is quite normal.She opened the tap and started to run hot water which was available then because I wanted to show the staff that it doesn’t last longer than 2-3 minutes. She grabbed my arm at my wrist and forcefully wanted to pull it under the hot water! This was very aggressive behavior from her, and I didn’t want her to scorch my hand, I had to free my arm from her gasp! I’ve never experienced this behavior from hotel staff, or normal people before! She told me like I’m an idiot that we should mix in cold water and bath like that. I told her that’s great but still once the hot water becomes completely absent in 2-3 minutes ultimately we will only have freezing cold water after that, so my wife can’t wash her hair for example. She said this is normal in Austria, and Italy too, because she worked there as well. NO, it's not normal at all. Then she left. I’m very frustrated because of this experience caused during our vacation stay, the misleading lack of information about this condition on the booking page, the aggressive behavior from the staff, lack of support or willingness to do anything about the problem, and their effort to cover up the problem like it’s “normal” to not provide adequate hot water. Unacceptable.
