Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bed was really hard, a bit unfortable to sleep at. The room was quite hot, so window had to be open, but noise from streets in the evening.
The pool was nice and not busy. Close to the lake and many restaurants.

The owner decided that the lights in the staircase is turned off by a timer after ca 10 seconds. So your risking injury walking there.

Breakfast not so good, few healthy choices. Bedside light didn't work. Quite noisy in the evening. Attic room very hot and aircon charged extra.
Helpful staff, excellent choice of local dishes in the restaurant.

More shelfs needed in the bathroom. Only a tiny shelf for 4 people, and there is plenty of room in the bathroom.
Great location next to the lake. Good food in the restaurant.

The light in the corridors was far too poor - almost non-existent. We had far to little toilet paper and the cleaning in the rooms was also non existent - only the trash can got emptied.
It was very nice place! The staf was very nice and always tried to help as good as they can, eventhough their english was very poor. I liked the restaurant very much. The food was good.

Breakfast was a la carte - you pay what you order. For people who don't want to stuff their faces until they burst with a continental buffet, this is a good solution. Personnel was courteous, and you could smoke on the restaurant's terrace, while having a coffee. The surroundings are nice, rather deserted at this time of the year. Yet, many of the establishments are still functional. Free parking a few meters further from the property. Aquapark Senec in a 10 min walking distance.

I've stayed at Hotel Koliba a few times by now. As you can see from the photos they've managed to create quite a decent lodge, with wood used for mostly everything. The rooms are quite basic, but always super clean and the staff where super friendly and professional. Plenty of parking in the area. Pet friendly.

I like that its clean ! The staff is doing their best
Overall its ok but its too hot in the rooms and that makes the stay a little bit hard. And u can not stay more then 10 the last day. Reception people are always not very interested and not smiling. We were staying there 3 times but the reception people were not very profesional. Even one time she came at the door angry that we didnt know that we need to leave the room at 10.

we lived in a room under the roof. During a hot day of +35, it heated up so that it was impossible to breathe at night. The fan doesn't help. There is no air conditioning in the room. Early in the morning, we were offered to clean the room, but we were still sleeping. We left at 11 am for the Aquapark. After returning, the room was not cleaned. Those. either in the morning or never.
Good location. The restaurant is located in the hotel.
