Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Online communication: the link received to do the online check-in did not work, communication about digital key (for check-in after 7pm) was slow, no confirmation was received about reserving parking and car charging. Everything could, however, be clarified and booked over the phone.
Good location, nice atmosphere, clean, spacious room, helpful staff

This hotel is a very convenient overnight stay for us as we travel from Germany and Italy back to Lviv. They have good on-site chargers and secure parking, and the staff has always been very helpful. Th hotel is located near to a very good park with playgrounds for our son.

What was promised vs what did I get On arrival, you will be welcomed with a free drink at the lobby bar. - NO Breakfast from quality local ingredients and refreshing drinks can be enjoyed on the summer terrace. - NO you can not access terrace from breakfast room Comfort Double Room with Extra Bed This triple non-smoking room has a private entrance and sofa. - No private entrance 25 m2 room - No. Small attic room with less usable floor space Garden view - No Inner courtyard view - No Furniture was old and bit broken. How this hotel is a four star hotel? Max three or perhaps two stars in reality
I was able to get complementary coffee from reception before breakfast.

NO reception after 7PM, NO minibar (empty and not possible to buy from automatic dispenser). The shower was full of hair and was not cleaned for 2 days. 4 Stars? only the price was adeguate for 4 star.

We booked the room for our business partners and when they arrived, they cannot enter the room in the night, so they have to search another hotel.
We not have any information, because we cannot enter in the room and after 1 month waiting we still not received our money back, just promised it, that we have to wait long time...

First they gave us a really hot and not very clean room, than the boss was very kind to give us a lot of options to change, but it was very noisy for the cars the rooms on the street side.. also the cleaning was a bit bad: no changing of soap when finished, no cleaning of room when asked with the tag “please make up the room”, no chsnging of pillow when asked.. I think the cleaning ladies don’t understand english. The reception is open only a few hours during the day..
The breakfast, the garden and the Reception and waiters staff Were very good and kind.

no reception that operates 24-7, you are left on the street till check-in time, advertising online check in and key, didnt work, never got the key nor a pin to enter hotel grounds, poor handling. The mattress is horrible, cheapest IKEA, not comfortable at all.

you can see I have used booking.com for personal and business over the years. I have never needed to complain but this property is unacceptable. I would like a refund otherwise I won’t be using you again, it isn’t lost on me that I am nothing in your overall profit plans- but it’s about doing the right thing. ruined a weekend with my son.
horrendous beds. unacceptable. no options to change or swop. the floor was more comfortable. I can honestly say that I slept better during my two tours of Afghanistan.

Very good breakfast (you decide one day before what you want to get, the choice is very big and you can choose everything), beautiful place with lot of flowers and nice design. Helpfull and nice stuff at the reception. Spacious room, free cot for a child. Very close to the center. Perfect choice :)
