ItalyThe small hotel sign is easy to miss, the furniture in our room was barely acceptable (no headboard on the bed) and the breakfast /dining area would benefit from brighter lighting and a refresh.
The hotel has a small parking area at the entrance, a cosy fireplace in the reception, and polite, helpful staff. While some common areas have been redecorated, our room had not - it was spacious with a separate bathroom, but sparsely furnished with old pieces. The spa and massage were good, with a spacious area and heated pool accessible from indoors and outdoors. However some cracks start to show in the paint. Breakfast offered a decent selection, though the dining room felt dark and dated. Dinner was simple but good quality, and the chef personally checked on our satisfaction, which was appreciated. Overall, good value for money, though transport is needed to reach the historical centre. Dog friendly with a little welcome bag of treats.

The breakfast was a usual Italian buffet which was running out of cold meats and the hot options, until the last day when an international football team where staying. Loads of cake and pastry options, if that is your thing.

The property is close to the city, but you need a car to go there. There is a very nice spa. The breakfast was good with a good selection of food. We really appreciate the opportunity to have our dog staying with us.

United StatesDisappointed the spa, a main feature of the property is only open in the late afternoon and evening. Soap and shampoo in the shower were empty though nice brand (Argan) when they have it.
Lovely views from some of the rooms. Hotel is in reopening stage so a few things were not 100% yet. Bathroom was very functional with separate shower and deep bathtub, which is nice.. Room was on the smaller side but comfortable and well set up. Friendly staff and nice welcome in the bar with free appetizers when we arrived early evening.

IcelandDon't trust Google when looking for it. In our case at least, it brought us to the back of the building so it all looked a little scam-y at first. But when we found the (very obvious) entrance, we knew we were in for a treat :)
We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful hotel - with the best staff San Marino has to offer! The receptionist that welcomed us upon arrival, Alessandro, felt like a family friend from the first minute and we actually had a tough time leaving after two days because his shift still hadn't started and we weren't able to say goodbye! All the receptionists were so incredibly lovely offering us direction and guidance, speaking to us about life in Italy and San Marino, and hugging our baby girl that got so much attention from everyone. And whilst the staff is the biggest plus of this hotel, that doesn't mean the rest isn't fantastic. The hotel looks really nice and smart, and the room was lovely - with a large and comfortable bed. We also enjoyed their lovely spa - where our 4 month old daughter had her first little swim. Behind the hotel is a little shopping center where you can find a grocery store if you want to stock up on snacks or drinks. Very handy! We honestly couldn't recommend this place enough!

All staff were helpful and courteous. Free parking was very helpful. Close to town, quiet location. Since we had kids, the pool was a lot of fun. San Marino was a place where everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome.
