- mosquitoes were relentless. They should consider regular professional fumigation, burn citronella or mosquito coils around the property, at least in the lobby. Another option is to grow lots of lemongrass and other mosquito repelling plants. We were miserable while waiting in the reception. - the amount of flies at the breakfast buffet was unacceptable. Staff was ignoring them as if they were part of the hotel. The hotel needs to install insect zappers or have your staff monitor for them and use the handheld zappers. Another option is to use fly traps. They should Cover all food so that it is not invaded by flies and Ensure there is no open trash around the kitchen and eating areas. Just as these conditions of flies and mosquitoes everywhere would be unacceptable in Europe or the USA, they should be unacceptable in Senegal.

Breakfast! Disappointing!

Apart from the breakfast, which was disappointing, the rest of the stay at the hotel was excellent, EXTREMELY helpful staff very accommodating, extremely friendly- went out their way to assist and the added bonus was that they allowed us to check out, of the hotel, at 19.00hrs for no extra cost! Lovely people!

Bar staff were not particularly friendly. Breakfast was a little chaotic. Breakfast items are laid out over a small area, which makes it difficult to reach if there are several guests there at the same time. Sofa in the living area seemed a little flimsy.

We have stayed at the Neptune before, so it was familiar. The grounds, walkways between the bungalows, the pool and beach area are beautifully maintained. Staff at the restaurant were attentive and professional. I like the size of the suite. It makes a difference having the separate living area.

My matress was too firm for my back.

The staff was very friendly. I stayed in one of the suite and it was beautifuly designed. The ground was very clean. The security guards were very friendly and always ready to help with parking and other info you ask them. The management is doing a great job.

The hotel was very beautiful nearly the beach, the staff very simpatic, the size of the room basically it was a big flat.I had the full pension the food was excellent menu a la carte .Every night life music great singers ,and i love the night that it was a show whit senegales dance great performance. Was a perfect holiday and safe as a female solo traveler .

Food wasn’t great especially breakfast. The furniture is old. The pictures on Booking are quite different from the real rooms. The staff is more attentive to non black persons unfortunately. The manager didn’t make an effort for me to talk to him about an issue.
