This isn't really a negative, but I typically book rooms with A/C. That wasn't an option here, but the fan was completely fine and we were very comfortable. My suggestion would be to add screens to windows so that they can be left open for longer and/or at night when lights are on without attracting insects so as to take advantage of the nice fresh air.

Our stay here was short, and we wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel has beautiful art and a lush garden courtyard. Daniel and Maria were very welcoming, and Luis was very helpful and easy to communicate with (in English or Spanish) through the Booking.com messaging system for any questions and assistance. We were in El Salvador for over 2 weeks and the breakfast here with the tostadas option was our favorite, paired with the house-roasted coffee. We did not have the opportunity to do it, but we heard from several others that the coffee tour that they arrange is a special experience and more unique than typical coffee tours. We look forward to staying here for a longer time on our next visit. PS Laundry service is available for a reasonable price.

Hotel Anahuac exceed our expectations. Room 6 felt secluded, comfortable, and perfect, with our own little terrace for coffee in the morning. I would recommend staying here if visiting Juayua.

The breakfast was simple but good. The outside common area was very cute and beautiful with all the plants and flowers. The room was spacious and clean. The guide was awesome for the 7 waterfall hike, which we booked through the hotel.

We loved everything. Simple but clean en up to date rooms (and i am really picky), perfect breakfast, very nice locations, really lovely garden, best coffee and last but not least the staff was the best, all of them were really nice and helpfull but mi amiga Maria she made our stay a 10. You can see that she loves her job so much, always a smile and caring for her guest and loved her humor. Just go and enjoy this nice little hotel in this nice little village with these nice people.

I got eaten alive by a mosquito every night. The staff did try to use bug spray and change the bedding etc. but it didn’t get the mosquito and after 5 nights I couldn’t wait to leave 🥲 I’d suggest a fly screen on the window as there’s no AC so no way to keep bugs out.

Beautiful garden with plenty of birds to entertain while on the hammock. Nice rooms of a good size and the best team, they were all super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best I had in my 6 weeks of traveling, Maria is an amazing cook and a lovely person too.

Located very close to the main square but far enough to remain a quiet and serene place to rest and relax in this beautiful town. The room was well sized, and the bed exceptionally comfortable (best sleep i had the entire trip). The beautifully kept garden is a little oasis. Maria is an exceptional host, and along with the rest of the small staff, made sure I had a wonderful stay. I even tried to extend it, but they were booked up. Their coffee is also superb. Note that cash is preferred for payment as they seem to have issues with the card machine.

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at this wonderful hostel! The house is filled with charming details, beautiful plants, and vibrant flowers, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The courtyard was a perfect spot to relax, whether it was reading a book or playing board games as a family. It was peaceful and quiet. Maria and the rest of the staff were exceptional! Everyone was incredibly kind, always ready to help with useful tips and suggestions to enhance our stay and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.
