Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesEverything was good!
We spent 4 nights in Pino Casa ,this hotel is amazing! The price is very affordable!walking distance from good restaurants!we choose Ataco location because it is very closed to hot springs to visit, around 15 minutes to drive(Alicante,Santa Teresa ,La Montana). The hotel is small and cozy, only 4 apartments with a beautiful courtyard.Apartments had everything:equipped kitchen ,very comfortable(!!!)beds(2) and 1 sofa, hair dryer, iron and even boards games! The staff is very friendly and helpful, thanks Raul for everything!

The apartment is wonderful: cosy and nicely decorated; small kitchen, nice common courtyard, located near the centre of Ataco, a beautiful small town in the Salvadorean coffee highlands. The owner/manager is quick to deal with any issues or questions.

We loved it here. Every bit. We had the quiet room at the back which was incredible otherwise may have been loud. It was our little home for a few days. Perfect.

United StatesWe waited 20minutes for the caretaker to arrive to gain access to the property, therefore calling ahead is recommended.
The property is just a short walk from the main central park which is where you’ll find food vendors, locals and tourist. Our house had a separate bedroom with separate little dining/kitchen area which was well equipped with plates, utensils and a coffeemaker. Private bathroom with warm water was refreshing as well. We enjoyed the common back patio area with picnic tables where we enjoyed the evening breeze of the Ataco weather. Beds were comfortable and staff were friendly. Over all a great value, will stay again.

El SalvadorActually this is a pretty good place to stay, they're like kind of apartments so you have your own kitchen and living room. When we booked we didn't know this was like this so we were expecting less than what we actually got. Really worth the money. I think you should describe better this place because we were expecting like a shared kitchen and a private room.

United KingdomThe rooms are at the front of the road so there is alot of noise, ok if you are not a light sleeper like me
It was a beautiful property. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place is well thought of and has all the amenities that you need. There is a lovely kitchen area so can cook or just use it for tea/coffee. The bathroom is very clean and has hot water. There is a lovely patio area at the back of the rooms and next to the hotel the little restaurant opens at 7am for a nice breakfast.

United StatesAtaco is loud on the streets, surprisingly so for a small town. We were woken up regularly by passing motos and cars, barking dogs, and loudspeakers. Earplugs will help at this property.
Given the limited options in the area, Casa Pino is a great option. The apartment was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The town is tiny so it's easy to walk to good restaurants, and parking was easy as well. The courtyard was very nice when we needed to get some work done or just relax. We would return!
