You need a better gym - could be enclosed with AC and an elliptical or treadmill or bike. Not all of us are yoga and surfer fans. The hard concrete floors don’t work with older joints even though I am active. It would also be fun to offer some hikes.

Breakfast was okay.. a little limited. The lattes were amazingly good! Service was top notch

Nothing that I strongly disliked.

Location is excellent. I liked the feeling of a small hotel , not overcrowded. LOOOVED that they dont blast music and its a very quiet and intimate experience.

Although this is not their fault there were a few cats hanging out in the restaurant! They said they tried to get them out and it’s been a challenge because guests would feed them in the beginning when they suddenly appeared.

Not much. Wanted to stay longer. The rooms are a bit dark. There is construction of a luxury condo next door and it obstructs the view of the ocean.

The hotel was right on the beach, had a small but very clean and beautiful infinity pool. Great food at the restaurant with many healthy and vegetarian options as well. Decent prices for what was provided. Excellent vibe for couples, families and surfers. Friendly staff. Nice amenities such as complimentary coffee (decent quality) all morning long. Optional coffee bar with specialty coffee selections. Potable water refills just by asking the bar tender to refill. The beach was better than expected. The photos appeared to show many rocks and waves reaching the edge of the cliff. However, there were steps leading down to the beach area and when the tides were low (most of the day), there was plenty of beach with fine sand and not many rocks at all. Great place to walk, exercise or play with your dog. Felt like the staff was really there to help you have a wonderful stay. Whenever I asked a question, they would offer to assist. I walked to the restaurant to ask for desert to go. The staff member suggested, "We can bring that to your room if you'd like". Very welcoming!

I have stayed all over the world and this hotel is in my top ten. It’s a perfect hidden location, the price is great and the staff is great. They made me feel really special for my birthday. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s perfect to get surf lessons, they have a lap pool and a great gym. I love this hotel.

I went to El Salvador for the first time it was a mother daughter trip. Since we stepped foot we were greeted by staff. The location is very secured and not anyone can go in. It was a very luxurious resort, the pool was amazing. The rooms were very spacious. What made our experience the best was the staff they were very attentive at all times.

The rooms don't really have a beach view unless you pay for one of the top rooms. The rooms were big and comfortable, and they appeared to have a little balcony but no outdoor furniture.

The staff and food were exaptational. Had some of the best food in we tasted in El Salvador during our stay there. The view from the pool was gorgeous.

This place was worth every penny!! Me and my fiancé spent valentines at this property and it was amazing. Room was great I did had a lil problem with the room I booked but they fixed it with no problem. Breakfast is great drinks are a 10/10 staff is very friendly and made us feel so welcome. My favorite was Luis he went beyond for us he made sure everything was handle for us. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all my family and I plan to visit again. The hotel is right by the beach the view is amazing.

I'm just disappointed I didn't stay for longer this time. I wanted to take one last dip at the pool! Incredible place and beautiful views from the surfing scene.

Puro Surf has become like a second home for me and my family. We make sure to visit a few times a year, and we're always mesmerized by the amazing and soothing experience. Beautiful pool and amazingly friendly staff. They now remember us so they're even friendlier, and it makes out stay feel more cozy.

For $250 a night, this hotel delivered one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Room cleaning was “opt-in,” but no one informed us, and when we requested it, our request was flat-out refused. At the gym, there were no cups at the water cooler — when I asked why, the manager said it was because they want guests to buy bottled water (!!). The facilities are average at best, and the service is shockingly poor for the price. Overall, a complete waste of money.

It lacked an overall atmosphere. there was no background music either at the pool or at the very large restaurant which made it look a bit sad and empty most of the time. While the place looked gorgeous it was definitely lacking some vibe. The room was great but missing handwash which was inconvenient but can happen and our sink was clogged. The service was lacking efficiency. there were so many waiters chatting but we consistently had to get to them to ask something rather than them checking on customers. Same by the pool with constantly having to ask for towels rather than just disposing them were it was supposed to be. It was a bit sad because it felt like constantly looking for help everywhere. Same for the laundry where we were told to let our bag in front of our door and it stayed there for the entire day until we went and dropped it at the reception. I booked one surf lesson which was really nice and when i talked to the main surf staff (Eduardo maybe?) he seemed bother and busy rather than trying to help. I therefore did not book my second session with them but went to another near by shop.

The location is so great, all the facilities and amenities were nice and super clean. The conveniency of having everything in one place was great as well (pool, surf lessons, gym, restaurant). The staff at the reception were really nice, helpful and caring. The room had a partial ocean view and the large windows made it really enjoyable.

This place is the definition of false advertisement: booked an ocean view room and paid the price for that. However, as the staff were showing us the way to the room, and right before opening the door to it, they mentioned that we don't have a view anymore... Instead we had a major construction site right outside of the window... surprise surprise... Of course they didn't have any other room available for the duration of our stay, so we were forced to move to a different room for EVERY night of our stay! Imagine how stressful this is with a 5 year old kid as well!! Also, don't get fooled by them saying there is a "coffee station" included, because no one will mention that it only applies to certain types of coffees, until of course it's too late and you're forced to pay. Everything there is also extremely expensive for the quality provided. The food at the restaurant is mediocre at best, but with a price tag of a Michelin star restaurant. And the list goes on...

Near the ocean, but no direct access to the beach. The one down the stairs from the hotel is too rocky to stay on, plus the tides take the waves all the way up to the stairs, so you don't have any access any more.

Rooms do not have a view of the sea / Price/value ratio is low compared to other accommodations in El Salvador / One broken porch key was charged extra, which seems very odd considering the overnight rate.
