Excellent setting and very friendly staff.

Although we are familiar with the functioning of gas geysers we couldn't balance the water temperature of the shower. Either very high or cold.

It is located on a beautiful, quiet site, very near the main road and located close to interesting attractions. It is rustic and simple but clean and cozy. The owners Tutu and Tando and their son Zoo were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful, we love them so much. The food in their little restaurant is GREAT! Try the ox tail!!

It was very difficult to balance the hot and cold water making it tough to have a comfortable shower. In rural Africa this is forgivable.

We were welcomed by our host, Dudu, with a big friendly smile after a long ride exploring the dirt roads of Eswatini. Ice cold beers and a tasty Beef curry filled the void in our stomachs while we looked over the valley below. A good nights sleep in warm comfortable beds let us wake feeling refreshed and ready to continue our adventure towards Barberton. Sobantu is an excellent spot to "taste" the friendly hospitality of the Swazi people. Thanks you Dudu. We will be back.

We had a lovely stay at Sobantu and would love to come back sometime. Waking up to breathtaking views in such comfortable accommodation was a treat. The owners and staff were all lovely and very helpful with recommendations, we particularly loved visiting Malaloja. Breakfast was delicious and the portions were generous. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Cozy rondavels in a tranquil setting with great mountain views. Friendly and very accommodating staff and owners. Nice fireplace in the restaurant/bar/communal area. Food was great. Will definitely stay over for a next Swazi visit.

The shower water needs attention. It is very hot or very cold. It does not stabilise in-between. I'm not sure what causes or caused that problem.

Beautiful view and cows roaming around. Shower was nice and spacious, plenty of space in bathroom. Hot shower. We could drive and park our car right up at the unit we stayed at.

Wifi did not work at all except in one area in the shared lounge away from the hut. There were no multi-plugs or adaptors. We did not know other people could bring their dogs. There is a no smoking sign that no one adhered to. Trash and cigarette butts were not cleaned up from the previous night. The bar attendant was not familiar with one of the items on the menu and my brother had to show them how to make it - they were happy to learn though. Food was just OK, some menu items unavailable. Thankful for the goats meat alternative that was offered.

It was unique and in a beautiful position looking over the Eswatini hills. It was sufficiently remote but not cut off - the best of both worlds. The food was local and delicious and very reasonably priced.
