How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The proximity to the airport meant we were awoken at 6am each morning. The room, although spacious, was tired dated and dirty, with mould in the bathroom. Not of the standard expected given the price that we had paid. Breakfast was chaotic and the pool area was noisy and full of children throwing balls and using large flotation devices which made it very comfortable for others to enjoy. There was also no lifeguard present, which was concerning.

Regarding the proximity to the airport, we are located outside the direct flight path; however, at times changes in airport traffic or flight routes can make aircraft noise more audible, and I regret any disturbance this caused. In terms of pool safety, while it is very common in Thailand for resorts not to have a lifeguard on duty – indicated on our signage – I would like to reassure you that all our team members are trained to assist in case of an emergency. Your comments on the room condition and cleanliness are concerning, and I have already addressed these with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure they are rectified immediately. Breakfast can at times get busy, particularly during peak periods, and we are doing our best to manage the flow – we have recently implemented changes to increase the efficiency of our service process. I truly appreciate you bringing these matters to my attention, as it helps us to improve both our facilities and service. The hotel itself is spotless, and the little touches like having our room cleaned daily and fresh towels waiting for us made such a difference. Breakfast was a real highlight – so much choice, with something for everyone, from pancakes and every style of eggs you can imagine to continental, Malaysian, and Thai dishes. It honestly felt like a home away from home, and we left feeling so well looked after. We can’t recommend this hotel enough and can’t wait to return!”

In this season, way too many people with kids, they were everywhere and in all the pools (3 of them) Impossible to relax and or swim. Who can use the gym like a responsible and educated adult has to be strictly controlled. My door frame had the biggest gap i have ever seen in a 5 stars hotel (imagine the noise from the slamming door on the opposite side) The room was very large but somehow the twin beds not so much because the side table on each side took too much space. Never again for me at this price point.

If you are traveling with small kids do NOT book the garden section and make sure you are not on a top floor. We had to lift the baby and stroller 3 floors each time and walk a few good minutes. Imagine if you forget something in the room.. Them putting us as a family with young kids in that location is the only complaint we have about our stay and the staff were understanding and compensated us. However, I recommend you learn from our mistake
