Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe access to the pool from the rooms that state have their own pool access. As described above these pool stairs need a extra top step and the hand rails extended to enable you to pull yourself out of the pool.
Great position in lamai. 2 pools, 2 min walk to beach from back of hotel. Lots of restaurants, cocktail bars, tourist shops, 7 elevens ,massages. We found a great Cafe 5 min up road. Also 2 great cocktail bars with really well priced cocktails. Very clean rooms. We stayed in a room on second floor with stairs to pool access. Unfortunately this pool entry is problematic. Firstly you only access the lap pool from your room so can't take your towel to lounges . Secondly I couldn't access the pool as the hand rails do not extend above the top of pool ( cant hold them to get in or out of pool) Secondly the top step of pool ladder is so low I couldn't get out of the pool. It needs another step and handrails that help you pull yourself up. But in saying that I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying in lamai. It's proximity to everything by foot is great. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

AustraliaThere were lots of “bed-hogs”. People leaving their items on daybeds by the pool and not using them for hours - not the hotels fault but was annoying. Mattresses a little hard for me personally.
2 pools were fantastic. Loved the swim up bard. Location perfect - cannot fault it.

United KingdomThere was no soap in our room so we bought some from 7 Eleven. One small suggestion would be alternative milks as both of us do not drink dairy! :)
The location is the selling point really - right by the main night market and seafood market - make sure to eat there at least once as the fish was so fresh and tasty. Also maybe 1 minute if less walk to the beach was amazing. We only used the pool in the evening around 5pm and there was no one there (maybe linked to happy hour being 2-5pm ;) we had it to ourselves which was a treat! Breakfast was really good - a varied selection of Thai and ‘Western’ breakfast and eggs made to order! Lots of fresh fruit. Free water topped up every day in the rooms.

South Africait was so annoying that other hotel guests put our their towels and belongings on pool loungers and disappear for the day, only to come back to swim at 5pm! On 2 afternoons of our 7 day we could not make use of the pool because of this, management should have a system that any belongings left longer than an hour unattended should be removed, This is very selfish behaviour of other hotel guests!
The location was perfect, a short walk aroung the corner to the beach, and lots of restaurants and bars across the road from the hotel. The hotel is beautifully laid out with lush greenery and spotlessly clean, we had a large room with all the facilities to make our stay comfortable, breakfast was very good and even better they have 2 fantastic coffee machines in the breakfast room

United KingdomUnfortunately I had to leave the hotel to travel home for a family emergency the same day I checked in and declined to give me a refund. I think under the circumstances (which I didn't want to go into at the time) they could have been a bit more lenient. They could have refunded 50% (which I suggested) and re-rented the room.
The place was nice and clean, big pool. Great for families and very central and secure.

United States of AmericaI requested the motel to get me a scooter and it was a couple hours late but not the staffs fault. I had booked the rooms with Agoda and they messed up the reservation again (Don't use Agoda). I had to pay significantly more for the rooms at the motel as they did not receive my reservation through Agoda. We unfortunately had dump of a room the day prior and I wanted to treat my wife and family to a nice place. The motel was great. I would say Agoda cost me about 3,000 baht.
The food was good, the room was amazing and the property was great. The staff was friendly. Everything looked new and clean. Great bathroom and beds. Location to the pool was great. I would recommend this motel to others. Once you on the property you forget about all the crowds and feel like you are on an oasis. One of the nicest properties we stayed at on our trip. The Thai staff was exceptional as always.

United KingdomThe music at the pool bar was on repeat and not many tracks.
Really nice hotel, could do with a bit of TLC but that is true of most hotels recovering from Covid. The breakfast was varied, which is great if you are there for a couple of weeks. Staff as always in Thailand, amazing. When we first arrived we had a room facing the car park and near the bars and very noisy. We spoke to the staff who found us a room overlooking the pool and so much quieter, a bit more money but worth the expense.

RomaniaIf i have to nitpick, I would've liked some more variety for breakfast but it is decent enough for a good meal at the start of the day
Everything was great, cannot complain about anything to be honest. Staff was super friendly and nice, helped with any requests we had. You can rent a scooter straight from the hotel which is super convenient. The room was big, clean and comfortable. There are 2 pools, one more quiet in a beautiful garden and another bigger one near the breakfast area. The location is great, 5 minutes walking from the beach and on the main street in Lamai, where you can find restaurants, bars and shops, a night market right in front and a 7-11 next door. Would totally come back if we're vising Koh Samui.
