Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaThe rooms are a bit old now, and the bedsheets/towels had stains. We even managed to trip the power by turning on the geyser and A/C at the same time. It's what it is I guess.
The location is amazing blooming with all sorts of plants and trees. You get a very cozy vibe and you feel very calm and peaceful. The staff was also very helpful and took care of all our needs promptly.

GermanyThe bed wasn't comfortable at all. You can feel the springs when you lie down. Me and my partner woke up with back pain. The resort should deffinetly update the mattresses.
The pool area is absolutely stunning! It's surrounded by cliffs and forest, such a relaxing and peaceful spot! There is a bar next to the pool. The owner of the bar is absolutely lovely. The resort staff was really friendly as well. We booked a cooking class through the hotel, which we loved.

NetherlandsThe bungalows are not very modern. The fridge is only turned on when your key is in the power point inside the room - when leaving for the day some of our foods in the fridge went bad as it wasn't on..
Absolutely stunning location, and amazing surroundings in the resort. Very relaxing environment and a nice pool area.

AustraliaIt was nice, but for value of money I think you can do better. Nothing particularly great about the place, and my room had a shared balcony with another room and directly connected, so you could hear everything next door. Not a bad place, but expected better.

SloveniaNot big choiches at breakfast but fresh egg corner was great.
Nice and helpful stuff. Nice pool area. Quiet place out of the Ao Nang main street. Cabin was in the shadow of the forest, we did not turn air condition on the whole time we were there.

EstoniaBreakfast could be improved a lot. Especially the coffee and fruit selection. The egg station was nice and they made fried eggs or omelets on demand.
Everything was great and as expected. The reviews of this place are quite accurate. It is a bit worn down, there might be some spiderwebs or mosquitos in the room and the shower pressure might not be awesome, but all in all, it's a really nice place and would definitely stay again. Nice hard bed, a great location, and awesome jungle surroundings. Location just enough outside from ao nang noise but not too far for a walk to the beach or main street (about 25-30min to the beach, 10-15 to main street). The pool area and the bartender are super nice and all services are available at reception(scooter rent, shuttle, laundry, trips, etc). You won't find a 5-star jungle resort there but if you go in with the expectation of not looking for one then you will definitely enjoy your stay! We stayed for 5 nights and would really want to stay more in the future!

CanadaThe breakfast is really medium. You are far from food options (Get the Grab app for delivery). The shuttle should run later so we could appreciate the sunset on the beach. You might have some ants in the bathroom. That being said, 100% would stay again.
The staff is beyond great and it is really nice to be away from the craziness of the tourist beach down the hill. The wifi is excellent, the pool nice and relaxing and cold, and its an experience to stay in the jungle. The staff even let me work in the lobby when I realized there were no desks in the room and set up a fan for my comfort. They truly care.

BelgiumNo complaints whatsoever about the accommodation.
Ao Nang Cliff View Resort was very comfortable with very well-kept grounds. There is a pool with pool deck and bar, but we did not use it. The breakfast buffet was very reasonable priced and very good, with a good variety of food available. The hotel offers a shuttle every 2 hours to Ao Nang Beach and back (from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.). The hotel is located a good distance from the beach, but this ensures quiet and was not a problem for us. The staff were very kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend Ao Nang Cliff View Resort to other travelers visiting Ao Nang, particularly those who prefer to be away from the noise and busy street life closer to the beach areas.

FranceThe place would need a little bit more maintenance to be perfect. I still had a great stay, the last resort is in a quiet area still close to main street of Aonang. There were a lot of choice for breakfast.

SwedenIt was a 30 min walk from the beach. If you take taxis its between 100-400 baht one way. The shuttle does not go that often. The room we were in was not so fresh but okay. Our friends got another room of same sort and it was much fresher, so it depends on which one you get :)
Nice location in the jungle. Very cozy feel. The bartender was amazing and very kind.

MalaysiaThere are many areas for improvement. Firstly, the breakfast was poor - an egg station, a choice of a few fruits, some generic bread, cheap cereal and a few steam trays with what looked like yesterdays lunch... Get some bacon, some decent pastries, increase the fruit offering and increase the quality in general. Secondly, everything needs renovation - the room was old and tired, the wood in the wardrobe was splintering, the safe needed repair, the curtains were broken, the mosquito netting on the windows have holes, the bed was hard and old, the bathroom was 30 years out of date and dirty... The 'breakfast area' is open air and the roof is collapsing, I peaked into the kitchen and it looks old and dirty. The pool needs to have the filter run more often and the lower pool is usually half empty. They have money because they are building new chalets, so management have chosen NOT to renovate. Bad choice - buy a pressure washer and start by deep cleaning that filthy kitchen. Third, consider a late shuttle - the last is at 6pm which makes it difficult to get back from town - this place is a LONG walk from the beach, entertainment, a 7-11 or a range of restaurants. The pictures on Booking.com are heavily edited. I would consider staying again, but in a nicer room and with a better breakfast.
If you like the jungle, the location is lovely. You are right in the jungle and the cliff face was directly behind our chalet. The area is full of green, plants, trees, birds, squirrels and bugs. Its also several degrees cooler than town because the whole resort is in the shade of the cliff and surrounded with plants. Every customer has their own chalet so it is quite private and peaceful. It's far from any main road and not a great location for kids, so everything was very quiet too. The staff are very nice and friendly, including the cleaning staff, receptionists, pool guy. There is a shuttle to town which runs every two hours. There are 2-3 restaurants within 20mins walking distance. The pool is as pictured (although they need to run the filter more often). Poolside gets very little sun because of the tree cover, so its cold. There is a small bar with a lovely bartender by the pool, happy hour is 200BHT for 2.
