Although you cannot hear the chaos of Khao San, the restaurant under the hotel would play music until around 1am in the morning on speaker every night during my stay. Since all the rooms face that side, it was clearly audible, at least from my room. I suggest bringing earplugs if you are not a sound sleeper ;)

I really liked my stay at the Baan Chart Hotel. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the room was really pretty and super clean as was the rest of the hotel. Having the swimming pool available was definitely a plus, since it was 40 degrees while I was in Bangkok. The position of the hotel is also great to see the old town, cruise around and organise day trips out of Bangkok. Khao San road was just behind the corner but you could not here the music coming from there.Fully recommend to stay here.

The location of the hotel was one of the best things about our stay. Very conveniently located a few minutes away from Khaosan road without all the noise. The staff were very friendly. The room was very comfortable with thoughtful touches such as a little amenity kit, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. Lovely little rooftop swimming pool- perfect for sundowners. Would definitely come back.

In the brochure that is in the rooms we did the night safari but the hotel didn’t tell us that this was in fact unethical. We would have liked to know. Also my dress I payed to get washed and there is a large bleach mark on it unfortunately.

The staff were so helpful and planned all our activities for us and also got us transport when we needed it. The property was great, so comfortable and clean and very new. Best hotel we stayed at in Thailand.

It was always extremely loud in the evenings due to live music organized by the hotel. Even after 11pm until midnight there was loud music playing. The doors to the rooms don’t isolate any noise, thus, once could hear everything and sleeping was difficult even with ear plugs. The traffic outside was also quite loud which was not isolated at all by the doors.

The rooms were beautiful with a big clean bathroom. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

My daughter forgot couple of pieces of clothing at a drawer & wrote a mail to the hotel. They answered right away; saying they found them. And (of course) keeping them. 10 days later when we arrived, they said SOMEONE threw it away by mistake! This is unheard of!

It is stylishly decorated & very very clean. Location is very central but with disadvantages. Terribly noisy; cause all the rooms are overlooking a busy / main street.

The pool area doesn't really get much sun and there aren't many loungers. The pool is a nice bonus of you happen to be there at the right time, but don't let this be the defining factor for booking.
