How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Verified reviewGreat location in Silom. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the metro and BTS and there was also a tuktuk shuttle (which we didn't use). Staff were lovely and friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was very quiet despite being in such a built-up location. The size was excellent. We really liked the pool with bar which served some good deals at 'happy hour'. We would stay here again.
Just for reference, the kitchenette is great with a fridge/microwave/kettle etc, but if you were choosing this suite specifically because you wanted to cook for yourself, there isn't much in terms of utensils etc to cook with. Perfect for re-heating breakfast from nearby street vendors however!

Verified reviewThe Bandara Suites is well located, about 10 minutes by foot from Silom station and Saladaeng station. The hotel offers free tuk tuk service. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is now closing for renovation, we will definitely return in the future.

Verified reviewHow spacious the suite was! Grand living area with dining table and small kitchen (please, look into a way of switching the overhead lights in the kitchen, I didn't find it myself). It also has a comfortable separate bedroom. For once the bed and the pillows were chef's kiss! I had maybe the best sleep from all the hotels I stayed on this trip. There's some renovation going on, however, I didn't hear any noise whilst there. The hotel has good bones, it carries this old glory vibe and I'm sure it was amazing when it was built.
The bathroom. The shower was a joke, water was spraying everywhere, because there's no shower curtain. The shower hose is the shortest I've seen, washing yourself from the chest down is a challenge. The water was extremely hard and the shower head with the ultra small holes made the experience more like a torture - the water was piercing my skin like needles. The breakfast was... A choice? That's why I used it only once. At first sight I thought there's a good choice. And then I had just scrambled eggs and toast, and bit of watermelon. There was no bacon, the butter was a concept, there was no cheese selection.
