We stayed 8 days instead of 4 because that place is just amazing. Jon and Sam are lovely hosts but we never rally needed them since everything was just perfect. Big room with good airco, nice shower with enough waterpressure. Good WiFi and television. Nice swimmingpool with enough sunbeds,some in the shade. Supermarket 100m, Danny's restaurant for breakfast and more 120m. You don't rally need a scooter, but they will provide a new one for you if wanted. Thanks for a lovely stay René and Tijna

We like everything! Very nice and spacious accommodation, with an outdoor living area, pool view and access from our door. Really good location as well, proximity to grocery stores, restaurants and the beach across the road. Very quite at night. 10 min in scooter from the Night Market as well.

The water ran out and had to wait a couple of hours for a shower but John was really good and got it sorted and it didn't happen again.

Great location for everything restaurants beach and plenty of tuk tuks.Also a great supermarket at the end of the road.

We'll never forget this stay—this was where we spent Christmas in Thailand! :) Jon and her partner were incredibly welcoming hosts. The location is fantastic, close to beaches, restaurants, and grocery shops, yet tucked away from the main road, offering a peaceful retreat. The access gets a bit dark at night, but nothing intimidating—you'll adjust quickly.

John is a very nice host! We had booked the spacious 45m^2 apartment, this is fantastic! 650 meters to the beach is a really short walk and you are staying in a nice and friendly place away from the noisy beach / noisy road.

The bathroom towels were more like blanket material.

It is run by a lovely British couple who have worked hard and spent time renovating the cabins recently. They are very welcoming and gave us excellent recommendations during our stay. They also helped us to arrange taxi services for our day out and to the pier when we left. The cabins are clean and spacious. Our room had AC and a fan, a kitchen sink, kettle, toaster, microwave etc. The shower unit was newly installed and worked well. We had a balcony facing the pool, but some plants gave us privacy as well. The location is excellent, it is off down a path away from the main road so you do not hear the traffic noise and it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach. There are plenty of restaurants around too. They provide beach towels at the reception to grab on your way out. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Escape Cabins!

We had some issues with quite a lot of ants in the bathroom, but this is to be expected with the in-nature location

This is such a beautiful place, tucked off the main road near long beach against the forest. The garden is lovely and peaceful, and it's nice that each room has it's own building. Jon and Samantha were amazing hosts, always friendly and helped us with a lot of things during our stay including scooter hire and taxis, with good advice about Lanta and Thailand. The room was great - cosy with good air con and facilities. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Jon is the new owner of the property, so forget about the old reviews. The complex is newly renovated, the rooms are well equipped. The pool is a good alternative to the beach which is a 5 minute walk away, as is everything else you need. We and especially the kids enjoyed our stay very much and wish Jon all the best for the first season (and all future seasons)

That we had to leave so soon!

Location was ideal, right in front of the best beach. You've got your cottage close to the swimming pool, other people are nice and calm The place is super comfy and has everything you need

Outside of the owners control - but the dirt road to reach the property was very dark at night and could do with some lighting - just make sure you have your phone torch!

I got an upgraded room - so grateful! The room was spacious, homely and clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. John and Sam were very friendly and helpful with heaps of information on the area. Great to chat with and hear about all they have done to the place since taking it over!

These are extremely nice houses surrounding a pool. The accommondation is perfect a jewel on this island. Jon is very nice and helpful for any kind of questions and needs. We still think back to the wonderful days we spent.

There were no guests, only me in the place. The air conditioner was not working. The owners of the place behaved in a disgraceful and rude manner.

The accommodation looks better and bigget from the photos. On the last day, the owner ls wife promised us that we could stay 30 minutes longer. The little son wanted to catch lunch. Unfortunately, her husband forbade us to do so. Even though housekeeping cleaned the room, which had a checkout before us and it was clear that they definitely didn't need our room for 30 minutes. Unfortunately, it didn't suit us, John said 40 minutes in advance, so dealing with the child's absence before the flight was really unpleasant!

What is a plus is the added little things - water, repellents for free loan. Nice pool.
