The location is behind another hotel and most drivers don’t want to go in.

The staff are Sau and Titi, the couple who owned the place. They are the most lovely, welcoming and great people. The bungalows are located around a nice pool and are spacious, simple and nice. Breakfast is simple, tasty and generous.

It's possible to walk in to town but as it's quite a busy road, we found it easier to call Bolt taxis.

Groovy Bungalows is a really chilled place to stay. A little out of town, but quiet and peaceful as a result. Spacious room, lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere.

The pool was ok, but lots of insects and leaves etc falling into it in the evening, which had to be fished out with a net (not a huge problem). The water pressure for the shower was very low and the hot water heater in the bath had some problem and needed to be fixed pretty much day (but they did that promptly every time and it worked then).

The owner was super nice, the location quiet (a but outside of “downtown”, but easily doable with a rented scooter, the rooms were cleaned every day and they tried to help with everything they could. Panda the cat was also a nice fluffy companion :-) Breakfast was basic, but included and hot water was available during the day as well.

Someone has to do something with that access. All taxis/grabs/bolts tend to wait in the hotel adyacent to the road, this is because the access is not signalled properly, it looks like a random road that takes nowhere. Perhaps more bards in the entrance, at the main road? Also, I would suggets to use some inciense for the terraces, to keep mosquitoes away. .

Breakfast was aceptable. The pool and common areas were great and gave sense of relaxation. The bungalow was incredibly spacious. The beds were comfortable and the details of the elephant towels was just adorable. .

Very peaceful place, perfect for people who want to relax, read, and feel the jungle. There are beautiful butterflies, flowers, and you can see some wildlife from your bungalow too! Delicious breakfast and very kind owners! The bungalow is just like the pictures, nice and clean. I also got my personal cat 🤣 there are some stray cats around, one was very friendly and slept on the other chair while I was reading and journaling every day. I somehow get a vacation cat in most places but this one was my favourite! I went everywhere with the Grab app but there are a few restaurants within walking distance. Walking is quite dangerous in Thailand because of traffic and street conditions, so I wouldn't recommend walking too far. The Grab app is like Uber and way cheaper than tuc tucs!

We had a great stay at Groovy Bungalows. The owner is ever so friendly and kind. He even prepared a take away breakfast for us although we had to leave for the airport at 6am. Very peaceful and well-kept little resort. Highly recommended 👌

This accommodation was perfect for us and we loved it!! It was such a peaceful location with the nicest hosts ever. The breakfast was really good and we really enjoyed staying here. The pool is very nice to refresh and you got everything you need in the room. It’s simple but very relaxing and cozy. We had scooter or used grab to go to the beach so location was ok for us:)

Oh my goodness how do I even begin telling you how wonderful this place is. It’s run by husband and wife Jee and Sau, they are two of the kindest people I have ever met in my life. The location was perfect, around a 10 min drive away from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang centre which I found a bit too overcrowded and noisy. Groovy Bungalows is magical, has beautiful gardens and I cannot wait to return and miss it so much. It’s clean, quiet and has very special energy. My advice using Grab is to walk to the end of the dirt track and order to the Pin Boutique hotel at the end as Groovy is slightly off the beaten track but that’s what I loved! There is also only 6 rooms so it’s never noisy and really nice people staying there. Jee and Sau will restore your faith in humanity!

Taxis or grab take a little time to order. The entrance way can be missed as it is a dirt track with a sign on the road. Fine for using grab, but you have to explain how to get into the location.

A simple and tranquil place to stay amongst the Thai greenery. Plenty of wildlife to see from your patio. A quiet place out of the hustle and bustle. Pool is nice to dip in to cool down. The hosts are great and eager to help out. The breakfast was simple but more than adequate, local bananas and fruit amongst the staples and eggs made for you each morning. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was a little firm for me, but no problem. They replaced a couple of bottles of water daily which was a welcome touch.

Loved our stay here! The room and pool were clean and the area is nice and quiet. The owner was so helpful and kind. He offered to drive us into the centre/wherever we were going and gave us lots of suggestions. Definitely recommend!!

Very quiet and cosy place a bit futher away from all the hustle and bustle of ao nang. It has only 6 bungalows so you'll always have peace and quiet. Perfect place if you plan to rent a motorbike but would recommend staying closer to the beach if not as walking to restaurants wont be an option and you would have to rely on taxis. Run by a thai couple who are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

Breakfast could be more diversified. Sometimes it was a short breaks in electricity. For example when you turn on hot water in the shower and AC, the light in the room went out. But it wasn't a big problem. Much more pluses

Our favourite place. At the begging we was a bit sceptical, because the location is far from the center and a bit in the wild, but later we thought it's much better. In the city was loud and crowded, and here was quite and homely. We wouldn't change it for the hotel in center. If you rent a scooter it's perfect place. Swimming pool is very climatic with the lights on in the night. Rooms were very clean (cleaning every day), and the owner is very kind person. Really nice sounds of nature in the night.

Location is a little too far from the strip and is hard to get taxis from there. Could do with a little updating and renovation. But for the price it’s good value.

It’s a nice inclosed location that’s is very quiet and peaceful and on a day you don’t plan much you can happily sit by a quiet pool.
