Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

NetherlandsThe peace and tranquility of this place is manificent. Sukothai has a lot of places to visit within short distance and easy to get to bike or tuktuk. The food is great and the rooms are spaceous and comfortable. Nothing to complain about, perhaps that 2 nights was a bit short for all good things Sukothai has to offer.

United States of AmericaFar from main drag, market and historic park. Bicycles not great at all and at night not secure, so tuktuk back and forth, a draw times a day if you want to rest in the afternoon.
Loved our bungalow, the garden, the restaurant and the hostess.

SpainFor me it was not bad, on the contrary, I enjoyed the quiet and nature, but it is further from old sukhotai, you can rent bike and be at the Park very easy. Totally worth it
Amazingly nice hosts, beautiful clean bungalows, surrounded by nature, beautiful flowers and birds. Their dog Panda will keep you company if you want, well trained and cute. Plus, you can have dinner and breakfast there, she cooks very good! :)

BelgiumYou're in-between a lot of plants, expect little creatures 😜
The location is very close to the historical part of Sukhothai. I was able to rent a bike for 80 baht a day and explore. I also paid extra for the breakfast they provide if wanted. You pay for this at the end of your visit. But I liked the option.

Gorgeous bungalows with a sweet little veranda, very green & pretty hotel area, FABULOUS dog Panda & lovely, smiley Nam Ka!!! Great food & drink available & bikes to rent. What's not to love? 😍 We absolutely loved our stay here. Thanks to Nam Ka & Panda 🙏

United States of AmericaBeautiful facility throughout - the lush greens, the dining deck overlooking the garden, the cabin with a terrace with a wonderful sunset view over a pond through banana plants. Very kind and attentive owner who is also an excellent cook. Rental bikes on site. Quiet area with a bike-ride distance from the gated old city park. Also several Wats nearby.

Russiano serious disadvantages worth to be mentioned
This is one of my favorite hotels in Thailand and actually in general. I stayed here twice: in late 2019 and in early 2024. Hotel is ideal place for family or if you just want to stay alone in calm area on nature yet with high level of comfort and still close to civilization. Rooms are in small bungalows carefully made of wood surrounded with tropical garden. There is tiny river 20 meters behind. Atmosphere is very calm - no noise and crowds. Everything (wifi, shower, AC) work very good. Wifi internet actually was faster than my dtac internet. And there are two ways to reach Old Town by foot or bicycle. Inside the hotel you can eat home food and rent a bicycle or order tuk tuk. Owner is very nice intelligent and hardworking Thai woman. She makes all her best to care about hotel. Hotel is quite fresh because when Thailand was closed in 2020-2022 she renovated everything. also owner is very flexible and quickly responds to messages: i wanted to pay not by credit card but in cash on the spot. so we quickly solved this question by correspondence in messages

The property was located conveniently for the historic centre and the host was amazing! She was able to help us organise a moped (recommended over a push bike as the historic site is huge!). The food served was delicious and the room comfortable.

BelgiumThe room was a bit small with two bags inside. Bikes for rent at the hotel (the price seemed high afterwards (80 bath), compared to renting a bike near the park (30 bath)). Price for washing was 80 bath per kilo (prices we payed before was 60 bath per kilo) but the washing was done within the day so that was nice.
Very friendly owner and dog. The room was very clean, there was complimentary water in the room. The matrass felt a bit bumpy but we did sleep very well. Breakfast was not included but could be ordered and payed seperately. But the room price is very okay. The bungalows are set in a nice garden and we could park our rental car right next to the bungalow which was very convenient.

FranceIt is about 3km far from the city center (historical park) which means you either have to have a car/motorbike or rent a bicycle. Apart from that everything was great!
The bungalow is in a remote part outside of town, very nice and quiet, surrounded by a beautiful garden. You will only hear birds and frogs in the morning. Room perfectly clean, free bottles of water every day, bathroom is big and modern, and the owners are so nice! Even their dog is so friendly, it's a really good place to stay. Bikes for rent for 80 B per day, convenient.

BelgiumThe quietness, outside off the historic center but easily reachable with bike or scooter (which one can rent with the help of the attentive owners). The kitchen - ran by the friendly lady - is very good. Beware of to become too attached to Panda, the friendly and attention-seeking dog or he will want tojoin you when you’re leaving. Terrific stay.

United KingdomN/A - everything was perfect
We were sad to leave happiness resort. Everything was perfect. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful, and we absolutely loved spending time with their super friendly cuddly dog, Panda. We rented bikes from the accommodation at a very reasonable price and it was a great base for exploring the magnificent historical park and surroundings. We visited during the loy krathong festivities and the market was amazing. The food at the hotel was delicious, the facilities were everything we hoped, and it was a lovely little Oasis but close enough to the wonderful sights nearby. Fireflies can be seen in the hotel grounds at night. You can also see a glorious sunset behind the mountains right from the hotel garden. Note that if you don't have a scooter it's a bit too dark for cycling to town at night but our lovely hosts arranged tuk tuks for us at around 100baht each way. We'd love to come back and stay for longer!

PolandThe bungalow was a bit on the small side. Little contact with the host before arriving.
Stylish bungalows in a lovely garden setting. Clean, with strong wifi, spacious bathroom, fridge and aircon. Very nice and helpful host, also owner of the friendliest dog, Panda:) very quiet. It's located a bit away from town, the distance is walkable, but it's a bit dark with some stray dogs on the way. Your best bet is a scooter or a tuk-tuk (grab wasn't available in Sukhothai).
