I really wish hotels put bedside lamps in the rooms; They’re not expensive and some people still read books before bed.

The swimming pool is amazing. I only swam once because the water was too cold for me. I think they top it up with cold water every morning. But I enjoyed looking at it while sitting outside. The buffet breakfast was okay; not worth writing home about, but in a beautiful setting.

We really enjoyed the stay, it's little bit further from the centre but you can easily rent a bike or just walk 20 mins. The breakfast was tasty and they had many options for everyone. The staff was really helpful and the pool is amazing. We can recommend this stay.

I knew this when I booked but it is good for others to know - Eco Resort hosts lots of younger travellers and the building I stayed in is made of wood so the noise travels. You can hear people walking outside your room very well and voices.

The grounds of Eco are beautiful and they have an excellent swimming pool and affordable and delicious food in the area.

Breakfast was a bit basic with limited options. Walls were thin. Was quite far out of the centre and had to walk far for food.

the pool was big and nice to chill out by surrounded by tropical gardens. The indoor/outdoor bathrooms were super cool and very clean!

The sink in the bathroom leaked directly onto the floor. The breakfast was very limited and no staff insight.

The property grounds are lush and the pool area is vast and clean. The Aircon worked well and the wifi reached the room. Keep in mind this is a hostel style accommodation though very spacious and laid back. There are a couple of coin operated washers and line drying is allowed one open patios.

Good rooms and nice resort, the only downside was that the tiles in the pool were really sharp and we had several cuts in our feet and hands afterwards. Everything else was really nice.

The common use refrigerator in the breastfast hall is no longer there. The coin operated clothing dryer is no longer there. There are not enough sun drying clothing racks for all the guests. The room cleaning ladies double duty working the breakfast buffet was doing a lousy job. Everyday the water supply shutted off for half to one hour for repair without advance notice.

The big pool suitable for lap swimming. The last three times I stayed before covid the Eco Resort was well managed.

The garden, the room, the price.

The hotel is located in a street that didn’t give off good vibes, there’s nothing else there and at night it’s not the nicest to walk through. The room was situated at the very back of the resort, and from the reception we had to walk 5 minutes with heavy backpacks for just 1 night..

We only spent the night here to catch an early bus to Pai the next morning. It was conveniently located near the bus station, which made it a little further from the city center. The check in went smooth, and the property has numerous facilities such as a pool, a place to hang your clothes (all of which we didn’t get to use but still, they have it)

Staff were very rude.

The resort itself was nice and has a lot of potential. i suspect 20 years ago it would have been high end luxury but today it is looking tired and run down. Regardless, a good stay and the pool was great (and very large).
