How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Verified reviewCame here for a day retreat with our baby daughter. We contacted the owner in advance to ask if we could check into the room early, which they kindly accomodated. We loved our stay. A buffet lunch was provided for our course, which was tasty and plentiful. Beautiful setting with panoramic views of the mountains. We were offered a choice of room, both were clean and spacious. There was local coffee and cacao tea in the room with a kettle. We made good use of the pool. Although I had an issue with my payment provider the owner was understanding and didn't make any fuss over it which I really appreciated. We could easily walk to several local restaurants for the evening. Would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing and hassle free stay.

Verified reviewThe place itself is really beautiful and very peaceful. It has lovely nature around it. The staff was kind. If you want to be in a remote area and just chill and not move around, this is the place for you.
The place should be more organized and have more information for the guests. When we arrived we were handed the keys and not much information about breakfast or other things around the resort. Also it is almost impossible to move around if you don't have a scooter or car. If you want to move with the taxi the apps don't work so you need to book one through the resort. The room service was minimal. They also advertise yoga but there is no yoga. I think they should change this to not give the wrong information

Were to start? This was probably the worse experience we have had for the price paid. We booked two rooms and stayed 3 nights for a total of 950U$. At that price we were expecting a service and a quality of amenities far above what was offered. 1. No choice of breakfast provided. Every guest gets the same one plate. That day it was noodle with some type of tomato sauce. The coffee was very bad (small tea bag like that leave a large deposit in the cup). 2. The worse internet service ever, especially at night. 3. The rooms were not cleaned during our whole stay. The maid did however start but did not do much and even left her broom in our room. The coffee cup I used the first morning was not changed for three days. 4. There were 2 coffee bags and two tea bags in the room when we checked in. Then these were removed the next day... Not sure why... 🤔 5. The bathroom in the larger and supposedly more luxurious room was the worse I have seen for a hotel. Come on, much cheaper hotels do much better. 6. The wooden floor in the large and most luxurious room was a real hazard zone for the feet and the risk of getting your feet stabbed is quite high. Please fix this and offer slippers for your guests. 7. There was a TV in both rooms but none of them worked. 8. The night table lamps in the large room were not working properly. One didn't work at all, the other one had an issue with the switch (shortcut). 9. The fridge turned off during the day when the key was not inserted to turn on the electricity. As a result the fridge froze and defrosted every day which destroyed the medicine I kept in. 10. There was no warm water in the second room due to a problem with the heater (this was fixed the last night).

Verified reviewThe resort was beautifully kept, gorgeous gardens. The surrounding magic up in the mountains, loved it. Friendly staff, very welcoming & accommodating. The host Ritthee goes above & beyond to make your stay an enjoyable one.
Not being able to get a taxis from the grab app from the city centre though it might have been due to the festival being on as well. Though Ritthee the host came to my rescue every time. Very thankful for his kindness and organising transport for me.
