Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe only thing was the shower flooded a little.
Beautiful hotel on top of a flower shop/cafe. The staff is lovely and accommodating. Smells amazing every time you walk through the front door. We had our room upgraded for free. The room was spacious, nice interior decor and balcony. Comfy beds. Complementary coffee and snacks are provided on the first floor.

The staff is beyond amazing. I forgot my earrings, and they went above and beyond to send to Bangkok to my hotel there. Such sweet people. They didn't even let me pay for the shipment.

AustraliaThe cafe incorporated in the florists offered plenty of coffee drinks, cocktails and sweets but little other food, eg, some breakfast options on the menu.
We liked the quirkiness of the boutique hotel. Comfortable room and a great location.

United KingdomRoom is small. It’s ok for one person, a bit small for two. You can’t hear the outside noise, but rooms aren’t very well isolated and you can hear people from the hall and the room nearby. Also room doesn’t look as new as in the pics.
Location is excellent, bed is comfy, they offered me a tea when I arrived that was by far the best I had in Thailand.

IsraelYou must walk through an entire flower shop and coffee to get to the hotel, which feels a bit awkward when there’s people at the store. The pool is extremely small and only fills up to 80cm depth (makes the value for money extremely bad), plus the staff needed to clean the pool twice a day which complicated using it since we had to time our stay at the pool with the cleaning times. There’s one door leading to the outdoor pool area then another door to the villa itself. The first door to the pool (and villa) doesn’t lock, so anyone could enter it at any time and come to the villa (which only locks with a toilet stall lock).
Great location! Super kind and helpful staff. Private villa at the end of hotel which increases privacy. Comfortable, big bed and clean room. Free snacks 24/7.

United KingdomUnfortunately the bed was horrendous and extremely hard so we couldn’t sleep, and the bath outdoors kept cracking as soon as you stood in it so we were scared it would fall through
Beautiful location, especially in the flower shop so smells lovely. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and room had an outdoor bath which was a nice touch.

IrelandNo safety deposit box. No table of any type. Room was very small & very bland. The perennial complaint about almost everywhere I stay in Thailand whether I pay a lot or a little - no breakfast on premises. The pictures on Booking.com make the more glamorous than it is. It's basically some small bland rooms at the back of a flower shop. No window to the outside just to an internal corridor. A total fire hazard. One TINY waste paper basket located in the most awkward place possible - at the back of the toilet bowl. Absolutely bonkers.
Location in the centre of the old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean. Firm bed.

United KingdomThe only thing I would say is that it would be better to have a door on the toilet and a curtain on the shower to offer a bit more privacy
We stayed in the Villa and it was lovely. The staff were all really helpful and there wasn’t anything they couldn’t do for you. Lots of complimentary snacks and water daily and the villa itself was very spacious, modern and clean. The location was perfect, walking distance to the hustle and bustle but set back so you couldn’t hear it.

PortugalThe staff didn't made our room, and didn't refill the water bottles, which we were expecting since we were not told otherwise. This resulted in not having water for the night, which is unfortunate, since we couldn't simply refill out bottles with tap water for safety reasons. Also, we had an early check out, and we had to simply leave our keys in a random safe near the door, because there was no staff in the hotel, and we didn't have any instructions on how to proceed. We fortunately had a WhatsApp number, and we sent a picture of where we left the keys and an explanation, and everything turned down alright :)
The hotel is in a good location to enjoy the streets and markets in Phuket old town, and it's a 15 minute car ride to the pier to visit Phi Phi islands. We got a room upgrade when we arrived, which is always nice, and the room was ok.
