Friendly hosts, comfy beds and loved the privacy of the pods. (Somehow) managed to miss that it’s a party hostel which isn’t really my vibe, but seemed to be sociable if it’s yours! And didn’t impact my stay, as the pods provide a great retreat. Music was only on late one night while I was there and I still slept fine. Walkable to Lonely Beach and some decent restaurants nearby

There is so much eye for Detail in this property. The Hosts are extremely friendly and you will definitely leave as a friend. The rooms are spacious, nicely designed and super comfy. There is quite a lot going on at the bar which was superb for us.

The doors to your own little dorm is quite loud, big door to the room is not soundproof so you hear everything happening outside. No hot water at our stay in showers :(

Comfortable beds, nice with your own little “room” with fan and outlets. Appreciate the hooks on the wall to hang towels ect. Free cold water! Supernice staff!

They are still renovating the place so there’s a bunch of renovation stuff in the yard. The pool and the surrounding area could use some tlc. They play music pretty loudly at the bar but luckily turn it off before midnight.

The accommodation is located close to the town center and within walking distance from the beach. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bed was good to sleep in. The owners are really nice!

They were still working on it so it was noisy and a bit dirty. The doors for pods give privacy but they are noisy. I think courtains are better solution

Really liked the over all vibe here, Steph and Byron are very friendly hosts and will make you feel at home. Stayed here two times during my trip, both the dorm and private rooms were very comfy. Recommended for sure 🤗

I stayed for 10 nights and can't think of anything negative worth leaving in my review

In short, this has been my favourite hostel so far in south east Asia, clean facilities, a comfy bed (dormitory) friendly staff and a social atmosphere To elaborate, the hostel is well located in lonely beach with easy access to bars and restaurants as well as scooter rentals if you want to venture a bit further The dormitory bed is private with it's own sliding door, the shower and toilet facilities are very clean and are well ventilated In terms of atmosphere it's not like a mad monkey party hostel but it's social with people hanging out at the bar every night, a great place to meet fellow social travellers which I did! Finally Steph and Byron are excellent hosts, usually chilling at the bar in the evening they're up for a laugh but can also help with booking transfers or tour's/trips for snorkeling etc which i'd highly recommend So to summarise if you're a solo traveler on Koh Chang who likes a social atmosphere I can't recommend Jungle Fever enough!

Absolutely unbearable noise – NOT mentioned in listing! This hotel is a nightmare for anyone looking for rest. It is located directly next to a bar that blasts music at extreme volumes until late at night—so loud that the walls literally shake. The listing on Booking.com did not mention that this is a party hotel, which is highly misleading. When I brought up the issue with the staff, the male receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive, basically telling me that "guests pay for this experience." If I had known about the unbearable noise, I would never have booked this place, especially at such a high price. Avoid this place unless your plan is to party every night and get no sleep.

I can’t think of anything

The location of the hostel is right next to lonely beach with all amenities on the same road. The facilities are amazing with a pool that gives you a view right into the jungle (giving the property a fitting name). All rooms (dorms and private) have the comfiest mattresses I’ve slept on and air conditioning/a fan. If you’re looking for a social atmosphere you can find that here with a bar, drinking/board games and a very cute dog or if you want to keep yourself to yourself your space will also be respected. Steph and Byron made this feel like a second home and it was always somewhere that we could go back to even after our stay for any questions about the island and the rest of our travels. If we were going back to Koh Chang we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Didn't like that I had to work for a bit, but all the extra plugs at the front of the lounging area helped. Looking at pool and greenery made me soon zen out. Good wifi. Spotted the yoga mats too late.

Smooth self check-in while enjoying a beer was a good way to start. We were early so we left our bags there for a few hours. Not your normal hostel - extra touches like nice 🍷 glasses, sugar cane straws, and free filtered water. Lively energy with a chill vibe. DJ one night was fun. Loved the wooden puzzle and games. Private room with plenty of hangers and hooks ➕️ a comfy oversized bed. We could step thru our sliding doors to pool and party, or not. Eco-warrior hostess Stef and Bryan got us dialed in - super helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. And our multiple change requests. International mix of guests were engaging. All we needed was within walking distance.

The dorm room , the facilities , the hostel looked like a building site , it was the only hostel that had all the lights out and no staff, sleeping in this hostel felt like a training drill for the special forces

Absolutely nothing

The hosts Byron and Steph (Austrailian so fluent english) are the most amazing hosts I've found in a decade of travelling. They will look after you and make sure you have a good time no matter what. If your up for a party and to meet amazing interesting people this is a must go location. They even stayed up with me til 8am to make sure I got my bus home safe. Words cannot explain how beautiful the people and the rooms are amazing

This is a fabulous place for solo travellers. The hosts are absolutely amazing and really welcome and introduce you to Lonely Beach life. I stayed in both the private and the dorm, and both were great. The dorm is almost like your own private cabin or pod, very comfy. The bar area makes it really easy to socialize and meet people. Thanks very much guys!!! Sorry this review is a little late.
