We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandNothing really. It is a small and personal Resort but we like it that way.
We loved the generosity of the space and lawn, which is unusual having only 15 villas on over 200 meters beachfront. The views are even better than on the pictures. Looking at those rock islands. Probably one of the best in all over Asia. We found it great value for money, also for the food and the drinks which are very reasonably priced considering the high-quality and the lovely service. The Thai food is really one of the best we’ve had. The location of the restaurant is right at the sea and one of the best if not the best on the island. The massage crew is also worth mentioning, especially if you need to “repair” some body parts like a hurting neck part. We found the staff very helpful and knowledgeable, caring. English skills could be a little bit better, but considering the environment and location we are in, they compensated with their charm. The only downside is that we didn’t book for longer. Recommendable as well for couples as also for families which we saw at the property.

I don’t bring a family of four to Indochina every summer, so when planning a trip across a couple of countries, and different kind of experiences, I felt we couldn't miss a week in a dream resort on a Thai island, in the Indian Ocean. It took me a while to pick up one but, honestly, choosing this place turned out to be one of the best travel decisions I’ve ever made. Maybe I’ll start with the family villa we stayed in: just wow. Spacious, luxurious, both modern and traditional at once. It made us feel truly special, completely immersed in a lush, tropical environment. Then the infinity pool — merging seamlessly with the sea, with the stunning view of the Hong Archipelago stretching across the horizon. The food deserves a highlight, too. We spent a few weeks across Indochina, and this was, hands down, where we ate best. Every dish — Thai or Western — was excellent, and the restaurant itself a lovely setting. And the service: having traveled in many types of accommodations, I can say I’ve rarely been treated with such kindness, care, and quiet professionalism. A word about the island, too. I didn’t want something too remote, so I chose a place still part of the Phuket area — meaning accessible and with plenty to do — but far from being overcrowded or overly touristy. Maybe the rainy season helped with that a bit: we traded the occasional short shower for a much more peaceful atmosphere and... no regrets at all with that! One of many highlights was the excursion organized by the resort: picked up directly on the beach by their long-tail boat, we explored a bit of the nearby archipelago national parks — including Ko Chicken and other islands — for a pitch-perfect tropical sea adventure. And exploring the Ko Yao Noi island itself with the Resort's scooters was just as rewarding, from quiet villages to beautiful, hidden beaches we had almost to ourselves. An amazing experience — and one I’d wholeheartedly recommend.

NetherlandsOur villa was not isolated, there are many opening to outside in the roof so in the evening the room was completely full of mosquito's. Luckily there was a mosquito net and that did help !
The location was fantastic, the staff adorable, the villa's lovely, a beautiful quiet resort, a little paradise !

United KingdomThere is a mosquito problem at this hotel but in fairness to the hotel, they do manage this in the rooms with a smoke, netting and electronic swatting system so initially we were a little perplexed but actually we got into the rhythm of living with this and we didn't get bites.
Beautiful setting on a lovely beach. Peaceful and spacious gardens. Very nice restaurant setting. Great views across to the islands

United StatesThe bar was not open until noon and off to the side and out of sight. I love a bloody mary or mimosa with breakfast while on vacation. I think some of the stuff is outdated and needs updating like the pool and chair cushions. The pool was not very inviting.
I loved our room right on the beach. I think we had the best cabana! Loved sitting on the porch right on the beach. The food was so good and the restaurant faced the beach. Very relaxing. Staff were great.

United KingdomI can’t complain about anything really except that the restaurant never seemed to have the crab salad!
Beautiful setting, the few wooden villas were spread out and nestled within the palm trees looking at the beach. We went in January so not busy at all and very relaxed, but still warm. A muslim island but alcohol was still available at the bar and restaurant which both shut at 10pm. Staff were really accommodating with every request we had and so polite and friendly. We had three villas, two down by the beach in the main hotel area and an amazing villa tent in the adult only area up the hill, a short buggy ride away. Unfortunately there was building work quite close on a neighbouring property up the hill but the staff moved us to down to the main area with no fuss at all. The villas were exquisite and so luxurious, it was a real treat!

United StatesDining room area was swarming with mosquitos. Could’ve been solved with a couple of fans or more effective insect repellant. The outdoor showers water was scalding hot, unusable (the water pressure was also abysmal). We had to resort to the indoor tub with a shower hose. There was no shower curtain in the tub so we had to sit down. Shower water was also visibly brown half of the time. Not many beach lounge chairs. Food was kind of disappointing, especially the floating breakfast. Good pest control at the room, but there was a dead centipede and frog that were sitting outside our tent the entire stay.
Damn near everything was fantastic. The tent was private, relaxing, and romantic. Tons of space, spectacular view, wonderful private pool. Super responsive staff, catered to our every need. Spa was hype. Excursion staff was phenomenal, island discovery tour was out of this world. Very secluded and quiet. Great small island.

SwitzerlandThis place was very quiet and peaceful. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and the staff extraordinarily friendly and helpful. There is the possibility to rent bicycles, stand up paddles and kayaks for free. The garden is immaculately maintained and looks like it belongs on a postcard. The infinity pool blends into the horizon so that you get the feeling of swimming in the sea. There’s a beautiful lounge on the beach at night where you can have drinks. Besides the hotel guests the beach is mostly empty. The bungalows were spotless, well equipped and feel like your own private little island home. Best breakfast we had in Thailand so far.

United KingdomI thought the villa was a little too basic to justify the price. We have stayed in many basic beachfront places before that have been basic and come with all the basic expectations but they were priced accordingly. Breakfast was good but the lunch/dinner menu was very uninspiring and we ate out both days. Apart from that everything was perfect.
The location was great with outstanding views that changed throughout the idea with the lighting. The gardens were beautifully kept and the infinity pool was great.

QatarVillas were open structure with a huge amount of insects and mosquitos. The third bed was just a mattress on the floor full of bed bugs which seriously bite and harm my daughter. The Restaurant Staff was not able to properly communicate in English. The price for night (e.g. almost 30,000 Baht) was absolutely overpriced.
