The aircon in our room didn’t work very well and took ages to cool down so we weren’t as comfortable as we could have been. Better the second night but first night was warm

The hotel had a great location and great facilities, direct link to the beach with massage options. Good breakfast and service

Everything was lovely. The girls at reception have such lovely smiles but they should show them more often, this would give a more welcoming feel to the resort. All the other staff are so gracious, helpful and smiley !!!

Lamai Coconut Resort is in a great location on Lamai Beach and only a few minutes walk to the main street. We stayed in the newer building on the first floor - garden view room overlooking the bungalows and garden - not sea view - there are 8 rooms on each of the 4 floors. The bathrooms are a touch older and could be modernised but are fully functional. The rooms are very spacious, a large kingsized bed, large lounge, plenty of wardrobe space for hanging and storage at the base of the wardrobe fitted our 2 empty suitcases. All the rooms have great verandahs with timber chairs and tables, also an extendable wall mounted clothesline. Again it is an older building but kept very clean by housekeeping staff. The restaurant/bar is at the beachfront, open from breakfast and until night. Great staff, good food and drinks, beverages including a fantastic mango smoothie - a daily treat, great pad thai and just the best salad sandwich with fries. Swimming pool is in the centre of the resort and is very large with easy step access and great little toddler pool. The pool and pool area is kept exceptionally clean and tidy. The beach lounges may need to be updated but otherwise still usable. The beach area at the front of the resort is wonderful. Large tree canopies give that much needed shade during the lovely Lamai hot days where also the beach lounges are located. There is also beach chairs, tables, umbrellas and large bean bags available in front of the restaurant.

    Nothing

The location next to a nice, clean beach you can swim in. There was always an available sun lounger, even though some people put their towels on and disappeared. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lovely lady who even helped me with my luggage on my first day and always carried lovely smile. The restaurant food was tasty and reasonably priced. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained.

Avoid room 105, horrible mold smell. Was moved to another room, did not have AC, was given a room to sleep, finally moved to a proper room. Hotel is really old, furniture, it needs a general renovation. Location is very good. You have silence, it's a street away from the main street.

Location, beach, good restaurant and cocktail bar. Really nice staff at the beach and restaurant.

In the bungalow the water pressure in the sink was almost none. Could hardly wash our hands. The pressure in the shower was better but not perfect. The wooden floor was really loud when walking, at night that's really not ok, we didn't want to disturb our neighbors. We couldn't connect to our Netflix account since the smart TV is only satelite and not connected to the internet.

The location is really great, a few steps and you are in the middle of action. Yet secluded enough not to hear any noise. The staff was great too, especially at breakfast which was superb. Different food every day. Western and Thai. We had 2 rooms, 1 bungalow and 1 room in the building. The bungalow was kind of dated but very clean and spacious. Ac was quiet, worked perfect. Clean towels every day, for bathroom and the beach. 2 bottles of water daily free of charge. Big comfortable bed, except the pillows too stuffed and too big, so we removed them. The room in the 4th floor in the building was new, huge and had a wonderful view of the sea. Overall, our stay was very nice and would recommend this hotel for sure.

Very creaky floors and bed frame in bungalows far too big for the space oh and a classic Thai money extraction upon check out. Also resident dog pee’s everywhere - at breakfast, on people’s towels on the beach and there are a few dogs barking which drowns out the jet skis

The rooms aee clean and tidy, but are a bit tired. A ceiling fan or desktop fan would have been a good addition. The restaurant was closed for food service halfway through my stay, so they could renovate the kitchen. And probably due to it being less busy. They still provided a breakfast with cooked to order limited items. I was sick for half of my stay and had to go to other places to eat which was inconvenient but still allowed me to try other venues

Excellent beach front location at Lamai Beach. Central to everything in the area. Easy walking to both beach side and street side.

Bathroom door not normal size. Too small. Knocked my head multiple times. Uncomfortable pillows. A bunch of dogs hung around. Fine during the day. Not ok with late night and early morning barking. Jetski rental operated both sides of the hotel frontage, creating noisier beach outlook. Has a chunky key room fob.

Technically beachfront for a good price. Had disrupted view. Friendly staff. Hotel offered scooter hire.

Wifi took time to start but good when it did. Breakfast at 500 bhats is way too expensive, we did not bother. Car parking is very limited.

Location and beach, free recliners. Beach is safe, clean and very little tidal difference.

We had 1 x Double bed and 1 single bed. Could have done without the single bed, and then have easy access to both sides of the bed. Having insufficient power points is very limiting. We needed an extension cord to be able to connect a medical device. Luckily, we were able to connect our own power boards to facilitate a connection. Internet in the room was unavailable.jet skis are very popular, but noisy!!! The resort is a little 'tired' but the staff maintain a clean environment.

We arrived in time for Thailand's New Year celebrations which featured lots of warer! Great fun. This is a great location, with very easy, safe beach access. Tide change was minimal. The swimming pool was an oasis if you don't like beach and sand. Beach towels were provided. Very good restaurant food, well priced. Breakfast was included in our accommodation price. The menu offered was extensive. It's very quiet at night, which meant we could fully unwind. Staff were very friendly.
