I think the price was very high as the hotel was almost empty and our room was definitely not the best one.

Hotel is in a very good spot: right by the beach and a short walk to the main street. It was very quiet when we came so we had the pool for ourselves.

Slow loundry service. Room were clean but needed an update.

Location on the beach, big clean pool also on the beach, breakfast amazing in the beach restaurant. In front of the hotel you can rent a motorbike for 200 baths per day. The lady there is very very nice and reliable. Rooms are in the bungalow style in the exotic garden with nice and big balcony or terrace. They have a security guard at night. The main street with shops, restaurants, food market, 7/11 five minutes away.

Wifi didn’t work well. It was extremely slow and sometimes didn’t even work. Very annoying!!

Breakfast was not value for money. We ate out at the market regularly to get more Thai variety. . There was poor quality Thai dishes and they regularly ran out! Egg station was great but we were there for 15 days so it got a bit boring

Great location to the centre of Lamai. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The pool closes at 6 - a little too early. The bar also closes at 6. No music and lacked atmosphere.

It is in the best location. The buffet breakfast is huge. The kids enjoyed the pool. The rooms are lovely and beds are comfortable. The gardens are lovely. Easy check in. Great bars next door-but quite. Food is great.

There were ants and a lizard in the room. The wifi was not consistent in the room. The phone number on the booking.com website was different from the phone number listed on google and when I emailed the property for the hotel confirmation and airport transportation, I did not receive a response.

Restaurant manager remembered us each morning when we arrived for breakfast. The location right on the beach was perfect and the staff kept the beach and lounge chairs very clean.

The restaurant is rather expensive but that is how almost all beach-front restaurants in Lamai can be described.

The hotel is located in a beautiful tropical garden, quite near to the center of Lamai village. The beach and nearby beaches Chaweng Noy and Coral Cove are very good, however central Lamai is good for swimming anytime (not depending on tides). The room was rather basic but quite spacious and clean, though furniture is a bit dated; the room also had a garden view which was a next-building view in fact :) -- as there are 2 main buildings with rooms, one in front of another. By the way, bungalows looked really good from outside, they are also really near to the beach. One can always find free sunbeds near the pool overlooking the beach, beach towels are also provided. Staff is nice and helpful.

The worst wifi ever. Ever! I stayed here 5 days. I was moved to a better room for wifi signal. It was.. For about an hour. Download speed was 0.6 mbps upload speed was 0.4!!!. All over the property the wifi didn't connect or was very very slow. Unacceptable to me. I work here in Thailand. Even if I am on holiday I still want yo watch a movie on Netflix... Impossible. Fix this.. I'll return. Now.. No!

Staff. Swimming pool. Shower on the beach........ Nice place.

expensive breakfast, rooms missing more daylight, many moskitos in the morning and at dawn or night, there was not so good TV entertainment like animal films or comedies, but at least channels: BBC, Bloomberg, Deutsche Welle, AL Jasira, Euronews, and too many Thai Channels, but DVD player is useless, nobody use it.

the beds where nice and soft, breakfast good (600 Bath for 2), but too expensive (outside 360 Bath for 2 satisfying) swimming aera of hotel beach was quite secure, due to a big net against jellyfish, as well as first aid bottles closed, in case of caught by jellyfish. rooms very clean, aircon o.k., garden and hotel aera kept cleen. friendly receipt , all staff nice.

Tiny disadvantages: During the 2 weeks we spent there the pool malfunctioned for 2 days. Breakfasts were more or less the same, having more fruit would be nice, too (very tasty plain yoghurt!).

Location 10 out of 10! Just 10 seconds and you're swimming in the sea. 4 minute walk till the main street with restaurants and shops. We were lucky, our hotel was within the territory where the government implemented the trial version of the jellyfish net, the only one at Lamai beach. I can't say there was jellyfish at that time at all but it was safe to swim anyway. There were some vacant sunbeds by the pool and by the sea, which is also cool. Hotel's area is green, full of exotic trees and flowers. The best choice would be to book a villa by the sea, which is a bit more expensive, but closer to the beach. Service was nice as it usually is in Thailand, it's just strange the room service only took the tips once, maybe they have some new regulations for the staff.

The second room we got was nice and calm (try to get a room away from the street leading to the hotel, it's a bit loud at night); the owners were very welcoming and helpful; the beach is very pleasant and literally in front of the hotel. The breakfast was also very good (buffet).

    - Very bad WiFi . The property is probably using a satelite connection, and the connection was really unstable. Many times without signal, slow. It is incomprehensible how such a great hotel can ruin reputations with poor internet connections. In the city there was much better connection.

    - Very good location, walking distance from city center (200m). - Beach hotel; calm and peaceful sandy beach. - Nice outdoor pool on the beach. - Good restaurant w/ reasonable prices. - Clean rooms in the forest garden. - The staff. - Every day garden cleaning. - Excellent price/quality ratio.

the pool is getting worn out and the blue replacement tiles aren't the right size, so it seems cheap. drain and retile the pool, as it's your centerpiece...

a beautiful spot on a perfect beach. I booked for two days and stayed a week. same thing happened last time. i love this place. the gardens are a work of art.

The entire experience was marred by a blood stain on the understeet. This was only discovered late at night. However the manager did all in his power to redeem the situation.

Location adjacent to the beach is perfect.

Pool area a bit tired - beach towel hut shabby needs painting & the concrete surface by pool needs more pots with plants to get it up to same standard as garden area. Umbrellas around pool need replacing as very old & torn with rusty stains Car park & reception area also needs more plants & paving to give entrance more kerb appeal as looks a bit shabby.

Beach front pool & sun loungers - lots of beds & beach towels provided Beautiful gardens around the rooms & bungalows Close to town with lots of bars restaurants

Bathroom with no glass in window, just mosquito net, makes impossible to A/C this part of the room

Very helpful staff, jungle like garden between bungalows and quiet location even few meters from living streets with shops and bars. Good restaurants in walking distance

The room was awful-dirty bathroom,mildew/fungus in the bathroom, towel holder was broken, toilet paper holder was broken, curtains were grey with red and black spots (supposed to be white).. I could not believe my eyes. And this is for 90 euros per night!!!! I don't even mention some minor things like only one chair for two persons or very uncomfortable pillows...Along the fact that you brush your teeth with a "nice view" to the fungus made me crazy.. A receptionist stated it was deluxe room and no other rooms available (neither upgrade nor of the same quality). As it was Chinese new year, Lamai was full and I didn't find another hotel. So I tried again with another receptionist. I showed her the pictures and got two cleaning ladies which cleaned the room in my presence, changed the curtains, an engineer fixed the stuff. The room became better-no doubts, but still not for 90 euros!!! I attached the pictures of the tap - before and after... amazing why it has not been done before.. There were also strangers coming from the beach, using the hotel beach towels and a swimming pool-nobody checked.. The beach before the hotel was always busy, sellers, massage. A lady with the food came at 12 every day for a few hours and bothered with the smell of fire - was very strong.

Location is great, breakfast is good (for Thailand)

Beach was dirty, the big waves it was not possible to bathe. It was necessary to rent a scooter and go to the beach on the opposite side of the island.

Good location, nice and clean resort.

The beach right in front of the hotel is less than average and the pool-side loungers are always full. Paid more for this hotel than any other hotel during my trip to SE Asia. Samui is overrated.

Hotel is nothing special. Staff were very helpful and changed our room when the first was not acceptable (second bed was a cot). There are nice beaches nearby.

Key very stiff and lock could have done with a spray of wd40 but that's being really picky. Only had breakfast 2 days of the 14 I was there so not fair to comment on that.

Nice clean rooms set in a tropical garden away from the noise on the main road. Ask for a ground floor room and you can sit outside your room watching the nature in the garden and feed the cats.
