It was a good place, near the pier so when you arrive can just walk until there. The rooms were really clean, and the AC worked perfectly, but they turned off between 12 to 5 (it is a small island, so they try to save energy and water as much as they can). You can order delicious food, and there is a pool table and some games. There are some dogs, and one of them barks kind of scary but don't bite. They have hot water, but most of the time, it is not really necessary

It’s quite buggy in the outdoor common space, we were there in monsoon season so the rain made the bugs worse. Make sure to use repellant! We had a dorm room that was accessed through the main area. At night there’s a swing door on the side of the property to get in; and with no lock on the dorm room door, it means basically anyone can come in. Backpackers are generally lovely people and this didn’t worry me personally, but just be aware.

The owners and all the staff are so so lovely, super welcoming and happy to chat and give recommendations for whatever you’re looking for! The rooms are cleaned daily, it does get quite dusty in the rooms, but again, totally manageable. I was on a top bunk in a 9 dorm room so the bed bugs were quite noticeable for me, but I was super close to the ceiling, and I always have a liner with me while travelling so this didn’t bother me. Just something to be aware of. The bathrooms were adequately clean, good water pressure too. Overall anything bad about the property is minor, and completely overshadowed by how wonderful the owners and the people that stay there are!

They have some dogs that are not friendly. The dorm and the bathroom need some improvements.

Near to the Pier and also shops and restaurants. the ambience it was quiet and chill. I only spend one night.

There’s one dog that barks at everyone and can be a bit aggressive. Don’t really think it should be staying in the hostel but it never actually hit anyone, was more annoying than anything.

Receptionist was super friendly and helpful, especially as I extended a million times. Laundry service quick and easy. I stayed in the 9 bed dorm which is in its own building, a little dark but I didn’t mind it. Sometimes when it was full a bit of a queue for shower as there’s only one between 9, but if you’re desperate there are other ones to use in the main building. Nice garden area I used to practice yoga. Also the kitchen serves of the best pad thai I’ve ever had. Good prices too. And allowed me to store food for me to make my own breakfast. Chill but sociable and good price. Would stay here again.

The water pressure can be stronger in the shower.

Good vibe in this hostel. The common room in the first floor is good. And the chill area in the second floor is nice. The AC will to the hole day.

it was surrounded by nature and there were a lot of welcoming common areas. Right outside the hostel there are many thai restaurants and the hostel is closed to the ferry station. If you stay there I suggest to go to the closed Rasta baby pub.

Because the floor is wood and the doors are very thin sometimes can hear people walking and talking, but nothing too bad, it was a lovely stay!!!

Very kind staff, comfortable beds with curtains, AC in the rooms, you have lockers, but need your own padlock, the common areas are very spacious, bright and comfortable, there's free filter water for guests and a towel, they clean the bathrooms and rooms everyday

They were ants in the rooms and bathrooms, but not too much.

The lady running the hostel is super nice and creates a welcoming atmosphere. The hostel is central, close to the pier, not in the party area, so it doesn’t get to loud at night.

The staff seemed a bit rude at times. theres men that live there that shoot bebe guns often on the main level, that’s kind of annoying. the bathroom shower aren’t good, they have low pressure.

when I booked I then got a message to say that one of the nights was booked up but apparently this is an issue with Booking.com bathroom could definitely be a lot cleaner, there’s a lot of insects beds are squeaky

No privacy in dooms could do with bed curtains or at least some hooks to hang clothes. Not allowed to bring in alcohol which is totally fair enough. However, the bar prices were the same as the bars on the beach, so there was no real incentive to socialise with other guests over a beer or five.

Great location, amazing staff, free pool table, funky art. Value for money. I would recommend & return.
