The view, balcony

Rooms looks very old and used , stains from old mosquito kills on the walls , mosquito flying to the room from the toilet and that was very annoying

The location is easily the best on the Island. Walking distance to Walking street either around the beach or through the middle of the island. Incredible sunsets, beach bar is great for snacks/light meals. Bungalows are nicely spread out and very clean. Clean towels every day and the sheets were changed frequently too. The grounds are well maintained. Breakfast is very varied-almost too much choice (Spaghetti Bolognaise for breakfast!?!) The staff were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend as a family of 5 and would stay again. Great to have the free shuttle bus option too.

The rooms are a bit dated, especially the bathrooms which almost felt dirty (they weren’t-it was spotlessly clean) but some cracked tiles/rusty shower pipes etc. We had an ant problem on the first day but the maintenance team sorted it within an hour and no more ants were seen.

Location

The plastic litter on the beach, the smell of sewage at the beach and dining hall. The heat in the dining hall was horrible and the fans were ineffective.

Superb location right above the beautiful beach, great that the property offer a shuttle service to the restaurants in town each evening as it’s a little far to walk up the hill

Rooms are a little dated

I loved the location and access to North Point Beach. The elevated beach view from the Dining room was breathtaking. The bungalow very simple yet comfortable and great to be self-contained. I absolutely LOVED the Food! The free breakfast was INCREDIBLE!! I thoroughly enjoyed all of the breakfast options, including but not limited to Pad Thai for breakfast LOL. The front reception staff, baggage handlers, shuttle driver were always very friendly and professional!

The resort offers a stunning panoramic view of the sea, especially from the cliffside. The beach is quiet, clean, and perfect for a peaceful swim. The natural surroundings are relaxing, and it’s a great spot to enjoy the sunset or stargazing at night.

The accommodation is good, but the interior fixtures are old. There was no way to stop the incoming mosquitoes indoors. The water in the bathroom smells and doesn't look clean. The beach is very fantastic and it is a great course to take a walk.

The lovely stuff, the amazing view from the terasse during the breakfast. The spacious rooms (garden villas) and the rich and variously breakfast.

We had a cockroach in our bathroom, but it was felt with immediately :)

I loved my stay at the Mountain resort! The hotel is at the most beautiful beach and the views was incredible. Staff was very kind. Free shuttle van from 18-22 to walking street and back. Food was very good at the beach restaurant. Also very short walk to Zodiac bar from the beach! Would love to stay here again!

Hotel is on top of the hill so there is a lot of steps you have to take. Personally wasn’t a problem for me since I workout but maybe not best for elderly or disabled people.

The area of beach where the hotel is, is insanely beautiful you won’t even want to relax by the pool although the pool is beautiful but the beach is perfection. Staff are so lovely, resort is clean shuttle / taxi into the strip isn’t long. The place is very up hill though so bare that in mind

This hotel provides everything you need for a great vacation. From big spacious rooms with an amazing shower, daily cleaning, free bottled water, superb breakfast with many tropical fruits, great beach bar, the most spectacular views (sunrise & sunset), good pool, to literally being located on the BEST beach of the island. No doubt about it. I walked the whole island, saw some other modern hotels that may have new rooms, but NONE has this beach location! Here the waters are calm even with wind, they are absolutely transparent and pristine, safe for kids, with all sorts of colourful fishes swimming just around your feet. At low tide, you can simply walk to the sand bank and see the stunning corals. It feels like you’re completely separated from the rest of the crowd.. yet just a few minutes to the walking street by shuttle (which is provided by the hotel at night). Staff is very friendly.. even when they don’t speak good English they do their best to accommodate your requests. Shoutout to Pran and James who made me feel very welcomed every time I walked by the beach bar. By the way, the beach bar has great food and not so overpriced compared to the rest.

Minor things that must be improved. Restaurant toilets need urgent maintenance, they’re stinky and dirty. Hotel guests should have discounts for all the beach bar food&beverage regardless of the price. Over there, card machines are often out of service which causes some trouble (like needing to pay at the reception with a 5% extra commission). WiFi is not good, but understandable considering the size of the hotel. Maybe it’s not their concern or obligation, but nature would highly appreciate if the trash/plastic around their beach area was removed. I saw many tourists cleaning up, including me, while the staff didn’t seemed to be bothered. In fact, there was nobody coming to clean the beach tables until they were asked to or the costumers were leaving. As a suggestion, the hotel should be able to identify/control their own guests as there are many people using the pool that are not staying in the hotel.

The view! And beautiful clean spacious rooms with lots of light. Good shower pressure. We booked two other nights after this in one of there more expensive rooms and got to keeper this room until check in AND got an early check in. And the beach must be one of the most beautiful in koh lipe

Everything is a bit warn out, and the pillows are kind of hard. But NOTHING matters when you have that view :D

walking is impossible at night from the center but luckly taxi is 50 baht per person so no problem actually.
