Not being racist, as a solo traveller l found that the accommodation was full of Russian tourists and found them to be unfriendly and down right rude people. A smile would have been nice as l found l was the only Australian there.

The location was really good, across the road from the beach and around the corner to many great restaurants. The room as a solo traveller was perfect, nothing fancy but clean and had a comfortable bed, nice smelling sheets and linen and the air-conditioning worked well. The gardens were lovely and the pool was so warm , probably to warm. Breakfast was served up really fast and was nice, you just crossed what you wanted.

We had breakfast included and only went once- we couldn’t eat it, wasnt very nice. We were the only english in the hotel- primarily Russian holiday makers in the area. Bit more pricey than other parts of Thailand we’ve stayed but that’s expected for Phuket.

Pool was lovely-clean and big. We stayed 2 nights in the premium bungalow and booked and extra night through the hotel and got moved to a standard bungalow- we actually thought the standard one was nicer and a lot newer. A lot of friendly cats all over the grounds. Good location right opposite the beach and excursion centre just outside gate.

Location was fntastic. Simple no thrills stay, and given how cheap we got the room for value $ 100%. We used the inn to wait for our evening flight out, and was surprise at how nice and clean the place was. Pool was good,

The room we stayed in was on the small side, there was 2 of us and we struggled to find space to put our things. Also no safe in the rooms. Loads of mosquitoes and only one plug socket in the whole room. Also the door had a gap which is why we think the mosquitoes could get in. Majority of the other people staying at the hotel, weren’t very friendly or nice which made us feel uncomfortable at times and not wanting to sit by the pool.

The pool area is really nice and it is in a great location! The rooms were kept clean and was provided free bottles of water. Also if you are wanting to go to Patong for the day, it was only 15 mins in a taxi. We also got breakfast included for free and it was surprisingly nice. It has continental items but you can also order food to be made fresh.

Bungalows are very basic and require a little maintenance - holes in internal door frames, door to bungalows have gaps around them. No safe in the bungalows but safety deposit boxes in main reception behind the desk (free of charge).

Very friendly and helpful staff. Always had a smile. Great location - over the road from the beach and 7/11 and within a few minutes walk from the busy shops, restaurants and bars. At one end of the main Karon beach area which suited us as was quieter than being right in the middle of it Lovely pool area, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Pool towels available to use from reception, free of charge. Complimentary breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, toast, tea, coffee, juice, noodles, salad). Comfortable accommodation (bungalows)

Stepping into the bathroom for a shower was a bit dodgy...especially for mobility challenged individuals.

Located conveniently within walking distance to restaurants, shops and services, a quick 5min walk and you'll find yourself on one beautiful clean beach. Golden Sand Inn, while a little dated, ensures their rooms are super clean and comforatble. Balcony overlooking street was a bonus to spend a few hours chilling, people watching and enjoying the sea breeze. Beds were comfortable, linen clean, room serviced daily. Bathroom was clean, although stepping into the bath to shower took some care (be careful). Water was hot, pressure ok, toilet flushing. The pool was large, well maintained with shower/bathrooms nearby. Free breakfast was lovely, great selection of food on offer. Also ate at restaurant for dinner and was quite surprised at quantity, flavour and price. This is a great mid range hotel for people who want bang for their buck.

The bathroom door is very low and i am tall so you can hit your head. The bathroom itself can be improved and the shower should be seperated by glass or something

Great location close to the beach and main market location in Karon. The Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was ok and had some variety. The hotel style is like little bangalows in the wood which is very nice and my room was very calm at night and away from the street. The pool is great.

The double bed is a bit narrow but we slept well.

Simple and quite old rooms but everything is there and it is clean. A very good quality-price ratio. There is also swimming pool and a breakfast included (not exceptional but fine). The localisation is really excellent, with almost a direct access to Karon Beach. You can even see the sea from the breakfast area! Restaurants and rentals are very close.

The room size for the bungalow was too small. Apart from that, there was no telephone in the room to contact reception. Rooms requires a little upgrade.

The location was superb just across the beach. The breakfast was good, however, could have been much better.

A little bit noisy, because near the main road. Low cold water pressure in the shower and water tap in the sink. Housekeeping was really unprofessional. She came inside while we were still in the room. And when it was 11:50 she were trying to enter once again and force us to check out although we had 10 more minutes. It is unacceptable and violation of privacy.

Most of the negatives are understandable for the price paid, but even with double glazing, road noise was a bit annoying. Rooms are very dated with some really unusual attempts at maintenance, like poorly installed floor tiles.

Not a bad choice for the price. The hotel is well located just across from the beach and in easy reach of many restaurants. I could not fault the cleanliness of the rooms, and the daily cleaning was thorough. Breakfast was fine - nothing amazing but all you need. Nice pool.

Everything is a little worn out already: AC, sanitary ware (toilet flush stuck sometimes, bathtub with scratched coating..), little bit moldy smell (was almost gone after opened windows), road can be noisy
