Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaThe main town of krabi. Too bustley for us. The night market was hopeless and the beach was naff.
The room was amazing. We liked being away from the main streets but still with enough shops and restaurants close by

CanadaOur room did not include the breakfast, so we had to pay for it, which is usually fine. Here we noticed that all the warm foods were left with the lid off and no heating underneath, so most of them were cold and flies were flying around them. Because of the remote location, and on a Sunday morning, we had no other options - if we had, we would not have eaten at the hotel.
The room and the pool were great. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The setting is beautiful with all the trees, the cats, the flowers. It is also in a very quiet area. It was good to have the shuttle tuk tuk to/ from town at least when we could time it right.

Jungle bungalow 10 minute walk to Main Street and another 10 minutes to the beach. We liked that we were out of the hustle. And enjoyed the walking. Bungalow and resort setting very pretty and would say the best choice for value for money. We stayed for 1 week, wish we had stayed here the rest of our Krabi stay!

United KingdomLittle piece of paradise. Staff are all friendly and top the room up with water and coffee/Tea daily. The pool is an oasis and the covering of greenery and trees around the area makes it lovely and secluded. The breakfast is 200 baht pp and is a lovely buffet.

PolandThe hotel is set in a charming environment, with a swimming pool and beautiful gardens all around. We had a great and relaxing stay, it felt like being in a oasis (some beautiful birds due to the lovely trees and plants). The room was cosy, quiet and comfortable with a wooden interior that gives it a (luxury!) tree-house feel. The location is also very quiet, although a bit remote from the beach (15min walk), the hotel organises free shuttles to the beach. There are plenty of cafes and restaurant near by (5-10 min walk) and there is a nice restaurant on site for meals, as well as a bar/cafe by the pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful! Recommended if you would like to enjoy Ao Nang but you don't want to bother with the fuss of the sea front street and prefer a calmer location!

IsraelThe place is a bit outdated, even though we saw they try to maintain the rooms. The shower wasn't good, we had hot water for a few minutes only. The gym is very old! The weights were full of rust, it seems like no one used it for years! The air-conditioning didn't work, we turned to one of the staff but she couldn't help. In the end we left the gym.
Green beautiful place. Every room has it's own entrance. Very quiet. After a few weeks of traveling, we felt we had some privacy, for the first time we didn't hear the neighbours. We had a lovely balcony surrounded by big green trees. The swimming pool was clean, small and quiet. We didn't take breakfast, but we did order lunch and shakes, and everything was tasty and fresh. The staff was welcoming, nice and very helpful!! We loved this place even though it is a bit far from Ao Nang beach, 30 minutes walk, or free shuttle from the hotel. But if you rent a motorbike so there is no problem to get to the beach, the center, the night market or even farther, in a few minutes. We would definitely come back again.

United KingdomWish we could have stayed longer as we only stayed one night, will definitely be back and will book for longer. We didn’t leave the resort as we had everything we needed. Comfy and air conditioned room, terrific pool, friendly and super helpful staff, gorgeous cat residents and wildlife to sit and watch from your balcony. Restaurant had a good menu and very affordable. Far away enough to not hear the hustle and bustle from the Main Street but equally close enough to get to with the resort’s free shuttle bus service.

Hungary- There was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom but as we noticed this happens everywhere around Ao Nang - Bedsheets were dirty and they did not seem to care enough to change it properly after we even asked for it - When we arrived we wanted to use the safe but it was not working properly. It took a few hours and rounds of trying to contact the staff until in the end they brought us a new one. - Staff was overall nice and helpful but a bit slow
- Pool: Amazing, clean and well maintained pool. I think a pool is a must in Ao Nang if you don’t plan a daytrip every day, as the beach is dirty and full of boats all day. On the other hand the sunbeds looked very old and dirty, but they provided a lot of towels which you can use to cover them so it was not a huge problem. - Food and breakfast: We almost always had breakfast and lunch here as the food was very delicious, cheap and safe. There is no alcohol sold here - Shuttle: there was a shuttle several times a day to the beach but it was anyway around 15-20 min walking. - They provide a laundry service - Bed was comfortable for us - AC was perfect
