The tour taxi organisers in hotel

Have stayed here in 3 occasions over 6 years .. this visit the place was looking a little tired as well as the staff organising airport transfer were less than helpful and tried to increase the price on 3 occasions from 200 bht to 1000 for a taxi which was extortion really .. I went on line and booked my own car service for 450 bhat despite it being an early am pick up .. The food at breakfast was also not to the standard of a hotel that charges premium prices ..I was disappointed this stay and next time in Chiang Mai I have found alternative in better location and better price .

Unfortunately I had the worst massage at the spa. I am sure the girl was new & inexperienced. I couldn't wait for it to end. I cancelled the next 3 hour treatment I had booked. Didnt want to risk it. The bedrooms were a fair walk to get to & the aircon made a big puddle of water everynight that you would step in on the way to the bathroom. One movie station with English. Staff's English wasnt very strong so that made it a little tricky for me. I didnt give them feedback for that reason. Sorry ☹

No that much. The traffic men were nice.

Crazy spa prices and not being open as advertised.

Loved it! If you’re staying in a swim up pool room be sure to get 102 if you want to be in the sun as all the others don’t get the sun. We had a shady room and the staff happily switched out rooms. We Loved this hotel, so relaxing and peaceful and we booked a few trips with them which were good. This place is also in a great location - it’s opposite 2 very famous music/food/beer locations but you can’t hear the noise from the road. Breakfast has a great selection and it’s lovely being out the river in the morning. Only gripe is the spa is ridiculously expensive and we thought the indoor pool was part of our booking but all spa access is separate so should have stated that on booking.com as it was one of the reasons we chose it. FYI...it’s £40 to use the indoor pool for 45 minutes and the spa actually isn’t open until 12am as advertised. We did actually try to use the hydro pool (and pay the crazy fee!) twice but as it was 8pm they’d shut it?? All in all we’d definitely come back - they just need to advertise the spa a bit better and reduce the cost.

Unless you are used to planks on either side of the bed about a foot off the floor and a foot wide, you are likely to get significant injuries to your shins. The toilet paper wasnt replaced in the room and there does seem to be a trust issue with management. On checking in they take your full credit card details including CVC number. On checkout they asked if we had used the mini bar (consistinig of about 6 cans of carbonated drinks). We hadnt and told them so. However they continued to insist we stay at the hotel until they had an opportunity to check. Not appreciated.

The room was lovely, the breakfast was very good and the restaurant reasonably priced. It is also close to the Good View bar and restaurant that is very pleasant. The walk to the old city is not far and only takes about 10 minutes.

The breakfast is very delicious and the restaurant has very beautiful river side view. The hotel even offer free yoga class everyday and the instructor is very nice and friendly. She is also professional in giving good instructions for me to be able to make huge improvements within few days. She is also very patient to show me some techniques of using ball to support. The reception staff is very friendly .my 6 year old daughter left one of her doll toy in the room, when we called back from overseas, the staff is so kind to help us to post it from Thailand to Australia and did not charge us. I would recommend this hotel to any family with young kids and whoever would like to keep a healthy lifestyle during holiday . As they have very nice outdoor swimming pool and very well equipped gym, also free yoga class

Only a few small things hold this property from being a 10. The water never gets very hot. At the spa they even had to add a pot of hot water to the foot bath because the tap would not get hot enough. This makes the tubs in rooms useless for anything but a cool bath. The AC shut off after running for just on hour. I reprogrammed the thermostat to run for 3 hours but this was the max that I could set. This was very annoying at night. Not only for temperature, the clubs across the road were noisy so the fan was needed to mask the sound. Power to room shut off when key was removed. I appreciate the desire to reduce electric usage, however, all power plugs also shut off. This made it impossible to charge electronic drvices while out of the room.

Lovely boutique hotel. The SPA is truly OUTSTANTING. Property is beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The security guides were fantastic about helping to cross the street or hailing a Tuk Tuk.

Common area such is living room was full of mosquito's. Maybe something could be done on this front. TV programs are scarce but that seems to be so across north Thailand. Otherwise 5 star.

Excellent and exclusive hotel / resort 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by tuk tuk from the center Chang Mai on the river side. We were upgraded to suite that was very comfortable and had jacuzzi bath as well as separate shower. Hotel staff is very discrete and friendly. Trips to various sites can be arranged from the agency in the lobby. Great massage available at property and we didn't try free yoga classes. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is quite small but very organized, the breakfast is good, and also the housekeeper worked is great. There is shuttle bus service at 7pm to bring you to the Weekend Market. We could not come up with a single aspect of our stay in the Rarinjinda that did not meet or indeed exceed our expectations - it was all wonderful. We stayed in three hotels in Thailand during our three week stay and of the three, the Rarinjinda was our all time favourite - so we quite literally did not want to leave!

The wellcome we received and the wonderful never ending "service with a smile" attention from all the fantastic staff. The place exuded warmth and calm from the moment we stepped foot in it we thoroughly enjoyed our (too short) stay here. The room (with pool access) was a treasure to behold - we quite literally wanted to just soak up this aspect for our entire stay it was so beautiful. The breakfast served at Deck 1 across the street was always delicious and Usanee and her team looked after us magnificently.

Wifi signal very poor and tv channel is very bad quality... Cleaning is ok but not so good... A lot of moskitos in the room I got bitten 5 times per night... Spa looks good but the therapist was not professional and not taking care about me... Air conditioning in the massage room too noisy to relax correctly so bad experience at the end and very expensive for the quality delivered. I got brown water from the tap which is disgusting and unacceptable for a 4 * hotel. I really enjoy to leave this establishment ... Staff does not speak correctly English so impossible to understand each other and communicate about the problems that you are dealing with. My key of the room did not work correctly and I had to ask to change the mechanism... The hotel looks old and the owner is certainly not renovating his building... It looks old and dusty ... That's really stupid because the hotel 3 years before was good but the guest satisfaction and the quality is decreasing and they really need to invest in order to keep their place in the 4 * stars hotels category. My safety box was out of order... I stop because I won't have enough room to list every thing...

I appreciate the geolocation of the hotel, and the computer room... The soaps delivered into the room are nice and the GM Aom is nice and trying to do her best to solve problems and manage hotels issues.
