Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. Everything exceeded our expectations.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rayavade The entire staff was exceptional — everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. They made us feel truly comfortable and helped create a few unforgettable days for us. A special mention goes to Le Grotto restaurant, which we absolutely loved. The atmosphere, food, and service were amazing. We also really enjoyed the restaurant near the reception, where the staff was equally outstanding and attentive. Thank you to the whole team for such a beautiful experience. We would gladly come back again!

The fact we had to leave...

First, the place is absolutely stunning! a small jungle with wild life and beautiful vegetation. Then you have the service. 10/10. everything was on point. always with a smile. The staff are really great. Finally, the beaches. the resort has access to three beaches. The one you arrive from (you will never use it), but the two others are amazing. Rooms are spacious. old school luxury. nothing shinny. excellent taste. Food is good. a bit on the expensive side comparing to Thailand, but the quality is also high. You can always walk 3 minutes to the main street and have all the Thai classics for 150 THB...

Everything has been catered to. Yes the resort is pricey, but it is exclusive and unlike any other resort i've stayed at. Cannot fault it!

Every aspect of our stay was received with a wow factor. Beautiful grounds, beaches, caves, amazing dining and relaxation. Sunrise breakfast, sunset pool swim. Direct beachfront access and amazing wildlife. Staff were very friendly and helpful. 100% will return!!

The mini bar was unnecessarily expensive. A hotel of this standard could surely provide a few more complimentary beverages. I asked to borrow some hair straighteners but was told there wasn't any. We'd just travelled around Japan where straighteners were provided in most of the hotels. A hotel like Rayavadee should really have some to borrow (us western girls have frizzy hair in the Thai humidity!)

We had the most fantastic stay at Rayavadee. The facilities & surroundings were beautiful and the staff were amazing. We had fabulous breakfasts included and the buggy transfers around the site were really useful. We wouldn't hesitate in staying there again, it completely exceeded our expectations.

Beaches in front of hotel get super crowded, but we didn’t mind given our oasis in the hotel. Some Food prices are high, but you can head to the Main Street nearby and find much cheaper options.

The public has beach access, so the beaches get very crowded during the day. It’s a really popular spot. The key is to go to the beach early or late or just retreat to the property and the enormous pool mid-day.

Everything! Rayavadee is an exceptional slice of paradise in a gorgeous location surrounded by nature and wildlife. There are 3 beaches on the perimeter of the property. The bungalows are gorgeous. The staff is great. A rare gem!

It’s great to see that the hotel already has some sustainability initiatives in place, especially given that it’s located in the middle of a beautiful forest that really deserves to be preserved. There’s still room to go further—for example, installing dual-flush options in the toilets to help reduce water use. It would also be wonderful to allow a few additional public pathways between the beaches, which could be a nice way to support the local community while keeping access organized and respectful of nature.

Rayavadee is absolutely amazing — a true piece of paradise on Earth. The location is unique, surrounded by a beautifully preserved forest full of life: birds, monkeys, fish, and other animals all living peacefully alongside guests. Our cabin was perfect — spacious, private, and spread over two floors, offering both comfort and tranquillity. What truly touched us was the special surprise prepared for our honeymoon; the thoughtful gifts and kind gestures made us feel genuinely cared for. Every detail reflected warmth and hospitality. The staff was super kind and helpful, the restaurants are all pretty good, and the breakfast was delicious and had everything we needed. We booked all the transfers from Krabi airport with them by email before our arrival, and it was super smooth. Special mention of their pool. so well planned and big enough for all guests to enjoy. It is pretty close to Railay Beach but with privacy. We can’t wait to come back one day — Rayavadee has truly captured our hearts.

Breakfasts are amazing. Food in general was a bit pricey though and i felt authentic thai food was available elsewhere for much less Nonetheless excellent.

Location is amazing. It is a bit tricky getting off the resort as its effectively an island but if you are looking for peace and quiet it cannot be beaten. Wildlife throughout the resort, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, phranang beach is so beautiful. Went for a week as part of honeymoon and it was amazing.
