Renaissance can eventually look into improving its facilities, such as adding water sports, day activities for tue guests around the beach and/or by the pool. The AC in the room seems not ideal for the weather condition (in fact, a bit warm during the night inside the room). Another point of improvement is the time to serve the food in the restaurants (too long... over 30min).

Renaissance has a great staff, which easy the stay for all guests. The food on all restaurants is just phenomenal, it is the greatest highlight of this hotel.

The hotel has direct access to the beach and it's actually making a difference compared to other places around Phuket ! The beach club food was really good, with both local and western options ! The service is excellent and the stuff was always caring about our confort and needs ! It is also closer to the airport than many so It made our transfers much easier... This is the best place to stay if you're not planning to travel all around the island !

Very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Probably one of the best stretches of beach I’ve seen in Phuket. Rooms were very clean, and trendy. Perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, away from the party side to Phuket. Would definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at ur hotel in Phuket and had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself was stunning, with beautifully designed rooms and breathtaking views of the ocean.The amenities provided were top-notch, from the luxurious spa to the delicious on-site restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. I especially enjoyed relaxing by the infinity pool, sipping cocktails while soaking up the sun.The location of the hotel was perfect, situated right by the beach. The concierge was also very helpful in arranging day trips and providing recommendations for things to do in the area.Overall, I can't recommend the hotel enough for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in Phuket. I can't wait to visit again!

We took half board and it was a mistake. Breakfast was more than excellent (that means there were some excellent cooks around) but both restaurants available for dinner were a disappointment. Food was ok but not more in particular if compared to the breakfast and the generally outstanding Thai food we had in the previous week of our trip. It would have been far better to dine outside of the resort in terms of quality and price. It was all the more disappointing because both restaurants provided lovely settings and the staff were particularly welcoming and professional.

The staff is amazing. My daughter got sick and we have to leave early. They gave us a late check out without asking. They were so gentle and understanding. Taking this chance, I want to thank Lilly from the front desk. She was just great. The variety of breakfast was impressive. The food served at the restaurants were delicious. Price wise it was both super expensive and worth it. I have stayed in other Bonvoy hotels but this is something else. I would like to come back!!!

We loved everything about this hotel the staff were all very helpful and friendly and made us feel so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent quality and there was something for everyone, our morning coffee was enjoyed watching the monitor lizards swimming around the lagoon. The beach was great and the sea was like glass so we spent hours relaxing and swimming…also thanks to R who looked after us with beach chairs, towels and cold drinks. Thanks also to the security guard who found my sunglasses. I was very happy to get them back. We will be back.

There are three reasons why this hotel did not get a top mark from us: 1. The main buffet restaurant is open only for breakfast. This leads to overcrowding of the beach pavillion during dinner times. We had to wait for our first course for over 1 hour on the day of arrival, despite staff visibly doing their very best. Management said that the main buffet did not attract enough dinner guests since it is located quite far from the beach area. This is probably true, but then why did no one think of expanding the beach pavillion?... The F&B team gets 5 out 10 for keeping their guests hungry. 2. The main green lawn between the pool and the beach is visibly worn out. It requires a much greater gardening effort to keep it fresh. The look of this lawn brings the entire hotel down from 5* to a 4* appearance. The lawn keeper gets 4 out of 10. 3. Last but not least, the area of the hotel is tiny compared to JW Marriott nearby (for instance). There is not much space to walk around. The overall space gets 5 out of 10.

Renaissance is a nice beachfront property. The beach is the ocean beach, so get ready for large waves. A huge bonus, however, is that there is almost no tide, which is rare in Phuket. The beach is spotless and huge, with no market traders or similar nuisance. The sea is clean. Staff is friendly and efficient. Rooms are large and well equipped. WiFi connection is strong. There is a small shopping and dining outlet village within 5 minutes drive by a free shuttle. A larger sister property (JW Marriott) is within 5 minutes drive also. Overall, this a "no frills" good quality resort. Do come here with a family for a relaxing vacation, but do not if your aim is to show off jewels (there are other places in Phuket for doing that). Value for money is good.
