Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaIt is getting a bit dated. No shower, just a hose for showering. A very small TV.
Pool was very pleasant, very convenient to the airport train.

United KingdomI had originally booked a room with access to the executive lounge. Booking.com offered us an upgrade which was good value but we did not realise this meant losing access to the lounge - this was Booking.com's fault, not the hotel - disappointing!
A great location for travelling in from the main international airport. We travelled by taxi but it is right beside the airport rail link and skytrain. The room was spacious and immaculate - very comfortable after a long flight!

United KingdomA little of noise from the road below at the front of the hotel from the room (6th floor) but nothing to worry about.
We have been returning to the Sukosol over the past two decades and always look forward to the service, breakfast and a familiar place to stay. Our rooms had a connecting door which was very useful when travelling with an elderly relative to give us and them the security and peace of mind. We enjoyed the vast array of the breakfast offerings, with Asian and Western tastes catered for amply. Location is always a factor when choosing a hotel and while we did not use the airport link this time we made good use of the Skytrain links from Phaya Thai into the main shopping area and of course Siam and the food court.

CanadaThe breakfast was good, however, no Thai dishes were available.
Nice Thai styled hotel with quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Room size was more than adequate and amenities were good. Ten minutes walk from the Airport Line train so if travelling light an easy walk. The BTS train line also easily accessible to continue your travels throughout Bangkok.

AustraliaService was frankly patchy. Some good, some bad. No proactive pool service by the pool, no iced water served etc. The hotel is missing out on revenue by adopting this approach. I would have spent money on at least three occasions had somebody approached me with a menu or asked if I wanted a refreshment. There is nowhere to smoke at the pool level if you like a holiday cigarette. Check-in was completed promptly but there was little guidance given re elevators, opening times, locations etc and it’s a big hotel with separate wings. Hotel does smell a bit musty nowadays in parts. Some people may complain in this area. All up I thought the hotel was good value and would stay there again.
Lobby was very nice and grand. It has an old-school feel to it in a good way. Pool was big and a good temperature. Room was fine but excellent value. Location is decent next to Phaya Thai station and there’s some nice places to eat nearby. Service at the lobby bar was great throughout. The hotel has a nice hustle and bustle with air crews staying over.

GermanyOrganizing a meter taxi through the concierge was a bit of a drag. The driver wanted to rip us off (initial price 300 THB for a 15-minute-ride) and we had to bargain with him before getting into the car. I would expect a good concierge to tell the drivers to turn on the meter or f*** off immediately. PS It was not midnight and there was no rain
Extremely clean and well-maintained hotel. The pool and the walking distance to Paya Thai BTS station and Airport link is a big plus. Friendly staff and plenty of breakfast options in a side street next to the hotel. Shopping mall nearby (Century The Movie plaza w. dircect access from/to BTS station Victory monument. Many airlines use the hotel for their crews - they know why.

RomaniaThe furniture in the room is quite outdated and the shower has a curtain, which, in my opinion, is just a source for germs and bacteria.
The hotel is situated very close to the train coming from the airport and this was a big plus for us, since we were in transit for 1 night. The breakfast was good, with enough variety and better than we expected based on some recent reviews. Towards the end they did not refill some of the fuit, but other than that we enjoyed the variety and quality of products. A big plus was the fact that they allowed us to take a shower in the spa area in the evening of the day we had checked out.
