A minor comment but I found the luxurious, brand new mattress in the master suite too hard for me personally.

Awesome stay. Oy, Ole, and the team were all fantastic. Communication was great, right from before we arrived through to sending pictures through after we left. Serene location, great views, relaxing ambience, delicious food (having lunches and dinners cooked for us was a highlight), friendly service, well designed and comfortable home. Cooler breezes throughout the living space and aircon in the bedroom. Enough places to relax/walk/eat that a group would not be on top of each other.

Excellent, truly breathtaking property pictures do not do it justice. You need to witness in person! Not only is the property and the views amazing, but the staff are truly one of a kind. Wish we could have stayed longer, we will be back soon

Some of the group didn't like the aircraft noise in the morning. There is limited shelter at the pool at some times despite the umbrellas. Some other villas offer a more extensive menu of in-house cooking. But this is us being as critical as we can be. We all loved this place.

Style of the building with great views. Oy, Please and the team were so friendly and helpful. They showed us amazing Thai hospitality. I can be a little overwhelming to be greyed by 5 people when you arrive, but they are all so happy and friendly. Plus there is the resident cat and dog who are also very friendly.

The food and cooking was absolutely next level and without doubt, the best thai food I’ve ever had (and trust me - I’ve had a lot!). If we could give more than 10/10, I would! The only downside is that it's relatively remote and you need a taxi (use Grab) for going in and out, but that's a small price to pay for the quiet and refreshing time you are going to have in Tassana Pra.

We spent 4 days and nights at this amazingly beautiful and tranquil villa, set at an exclusive mountainside, overlooking the bay. The villa is located with a large private matucilously cultivated garden, has a beautiful moat surrounding it. The structure is mahogany wood, very spacious and airy, feels immediately like a zen home away from home. There are 3 master bedrooms with private bathrooms that include a roofless shower. Air conditioning and fans in all spaces. There's a large pool with an infinity side on the cliff side, where you can just sit and stare at treetops, the bay, sunset and landing planes. All of this is nothing compared to the amazing 11/10 service provided by the house team, led by Oy and Ole. They took care of everything we asked, including customized island tour, boat trip, dinner reservations and a wonderful dinner prepared for us at the villa by Oy, which was the best meal we had in Thailand so far. I literally could not recommend this place more.

If you are lucky enough to find availability, I’d suggest you do not hesitate and book right away. The home itself is spectacular, blending the history and culture of Thailand with plenty of space and the modern amenities of great air conditioning, comfortable beds, and strong showers. Adding to the beauty of Koh Samui, Tassana Pra was a true experience it itself. The villa team led by Mrs. Oy are amazing and go out of their way every day to make your experience unforgettable. We enjoyed home cooked Thai food every day, shaping a new dinner menu each night with Mrs. Oy and enjoying a breakfast as well. The Tassana Pra team are truly kind and went out of their way to help with transportation, advice, and a birthday celebration for my son. The view from the villa will take your breath away. You enjoy this for dinner, during happy hour, while at the pool, and any other time you are lucky to be relaxing at Tassana Pra. We enjoyed a sunset happy hour each night after relaxing in the incredible pool. For a special treat, ask about the floating cocktail bar. The location allowed for true peace each breakfast and evening, yet was close enough to town to make our daily activities quite convenient. It’s a bonus if you enjoy watching airplane take off and land, as you have a great view. (We did not find that airplanes every disturbed sleep.) Thank you to Mrs. Oy and the entire team for a remarkable stay. You are kind and we feel blessed to have met you. We hope we are fortunate to visit again one day.

The service of the family is really outstanding. They fulfill all the needs, sometimes even before we could even ask for it. Also the food they prepared for us was great. Several great Thai food dinners were served to us. Always with a small surprise and always with a sincere smile!

The three days staying in the villa were one of the best thing ever. We loved every thing there, the details of the villa, it's an art of architecture. The most impressive thing is the prople we met, they are the most nice people we met in Thailand. I would like to say thank you one more time to Oy, Wally, Ole', Kan, Moon, Pisit. The staff are amazing The villa is more beautiful than the pictures The attention to detail for everything food ,drinks, flowers, trips , and coconuts are unbelievable Moons Flower arrangements are off the chart Oys food is spectacular Wally's and moons coffees are suberb Oles tour was outstanding. I can't believe the amount of amazing attractions we have seen in a few hours John was not in Koh Samui but stayed in contact to make sure we had a great honeymoon Everyone involved in this rental is a delight to be around or in contact with . Nothing that should keep you from going here. A little airplane noise from time to time during daylight hours, but it's not obtrusive, particularly when you're enjoying a little bit of heaven.

I thought I already wrote my review!? Anyway, in a nutshell there are not enough superlatives to describe the awesome experience of staying with the Tassana Pra family, because that's what they became after six incredible days of: stunning culinary surprises; fantastic attention to detail in everything from making up the bedroom to manning the bar; the amazing hilltop location; the mind-blowing view from the meticulously kept grounds to cooling off in the large natural stone pool. We were heartbroken leaving Oi, Wally, Ole and the others who tended to our every wish. I've stayed at other high end villas on Koh Samui, and unless you really need to be located on another part of the island, this villa's overall value cannot be beat. John, the owner, was prompt, pleasant and helpful. If I were to return to Koh Samui I would, unreservedly, return to Tassana Pra, the loveliest Thai style villa with the nicest staff and secluded location. 10 out of 10 does not do it justice. I write this unbiased review strictly as I see it: as a world traveller.
